Cool man, I have the same vv gripper from madvapes, it's been going strong 6 months now. and in my opinion, it is a good mod. However it is plastic, so be careful and try not to drop it. May I ask which battery you purchased for it? The AW 18650 IMR batteries are the best fit for these if I'm not mistaken.

Yea im not that worried about the plastic finish im always on point with my pv's :) And i have an ultrafire 18650 i got from amazon do you think that would fit it? And thanks for your comment im glad your gripper is working for you :)

Great APV you got dee93! I love mine! I have one that's 6 months old that's working fine (but the battery door is a bit "floppy"...a bit of elec. tape insures it doesn't break :) ) and just got another one in silver from MV that seems built even better than the older one. They are amazing! Look good and vape great! You are in for a treat!

The Ultrafire...I'm a bit worried about those. You should have NO LONGER than 65mm....yes I know they are marked "18650 but not all batteries are created equal. I use EH and AW IMR flat tops mostly. I watch for the length of the batteries like a hawk. If it isn't given in the specs...I don't buy it. The 18650's sold by Joyetech for their eGo T mods (sold at several vendors..MyFreedomSmokes is one. They are blue) fit fine. Most other flat tops will also.

Have had mine for almost a year. My battery door broke and I now tape it shut. Needless to say it doesn't look the greatest but I still love it. Hits amazingly well. Love the built in ohms checker allows me to test my rebuilt coils with out a multimeter. Would definitely recommend this to any one contemplating a move to VV unit.
