Hi and Happy New Year to all ECF members!
I think this is my first post in the form of a hardware related question. I have been a member for about 4 months and vaping the same amount of time but, assiduous reading of the forum has allowed me the luxury of making many informed decisions and purchases without ever having to actually ask a question...until now, that is.
I recently bought my first VV mod (cheering, oohs and ahs), which would be this little jewel here with 510 threads.
I know for some of the purists this is not a VV because it doesn't do the whole range of 3.2 - 7.0 and peel potatoes and play Jimmys Star Spangled Banner solo while vaping and whatnot but it does what I want it to and I am quite happy with it so far (found my 'sweet spot' at 4.8 volts).
So my question is about the best carto to use on this device. I say cartomizer because I am a devotee and do not like atomizer dripping. The whole reasoning behind my question stems from the fact that higher voltage sucks juice like mad and I am finding that I have to top off with such a frequency that I might as well be dripping an atty. This just won't do for me. I got the VV mod mostly for the extended battery life and then and, only then, for the higher voltage (although I am right happy with that too). I am attracted by fuss-free stuff. Want to load up and forget about it for as long as possible.
Apart from a carto, I would be open to a tank or anything else (hopefully not too silly looking) that might give me at least an hour or more before topping off. At the moment I am using Boge 2.7 ohm cartos on it (again 510 threads) because I like a cool vape and I know I can't use LR cartos with the higher voltage. But I am having to top off every ten minutes or so, while the same carto on my 3.7 Riva lets me go almost an hour before I touch it again (I very nearly chain vape - but I think I am short of the definition because I only use about 2 ml of juice a day even though it seems that I am vaping constantly all day long). I don't know how some folks do a lot more...but, in any case that is all once again on my 3.7 PV. Since I've had the VV, I have almost doubled my juice usage because it just vapes so quickly.
Just in case I didn't get all my info in the above, I vape a 50/50 VG/PG mix.
Thanks for any and all replies. And thanks just for being here as a community that has always been such a great support to my vaping experience!
