I have a tesla setup that allows you to change either volts or watts. Which one should I adjust?

Built a 2 ohm coil for my trident rda with cotton wick. Just wanting to know what volt or watt range is good as the chart I read says 5 watts but it's not producing much vape

2.0 ohms @ 5 watts is only 3.2 volts- far too low. As posted above turn it up. "Generally" the most popular setting is 7- 8 watts.
Re: 2.0 ohms @ 5 watts...maybe you're mixing up voltage with wattage setting?

If it was me, I'd crank it up to 15 watts, as long as it wicks properly and can get enough air, it's full warp speed for me. Just keep cranking it up till you like it best. If you start getting dry hits, or burnt flavor, turn it down. You'll go through more juice but the vape at 15 watts is incredible, as long as your atomizer can handle it.

Keep it set to watts as it will deliver a similar vape if you change the resistance of the coil or put another atomiser on it with a different resistance.
The chart in this thread might be useful, although I find I tend to use higher rates than those indicated in green.

I totally agree, well mostly agree, lol. The chart is mainly applicable for beginner and intermediate atomizers. You can throw it out the window once one starts rba's and rda's, then it's a matter of what your build and wick can handle and also the max output of your device. Like everything else in Vape World, it's all about personal preference.

If your wicking is adequate, and your densities are correct, then the sky is the limit. As long as enough juice can be supplied to the coil at the power being used, all that happens is you get juicier, more flavorful clouds of vape. If the cotton is to dense going through the coil then the juice supply is choked off, dry hits, if not enough wick, then not enough juice is supplied, dry hits. Also the air supply is critical too. If enough air can't get to the atomizing chamber one will get heat build up and get a very hot vape. I vape most of my rba's with the air control wide open.

Just keep cranking it up a little bit at a time, till it doesn't taste good anymore. Play with it a bit, can't hurt anything, only risk is getting a nasty hit like when one runs out of juice.
