For example, with a certain juice, it may taste better at a higher voltage, and some may taste better at a lower voltage, so you can customise your vape.
Also the battery indicator, so you can see how low the battery is getting before it just dies on you.
Short circuit protection.
When you set it at eg. 10w, then no matter how low the battery gets, it still outputs 10w to your atty, so its consistent.

For me, as a new vapor, it also give something more to play with!

I have been checking out how different liquids taste with changes to volts. I have also noticed that when changing from one tank to another that have different resistance but same juice, I can get almost the same flavor if my settings are on watts or power. The mod makes the changes to the voltage by measuring the resistance of the coil.
