Look into getting a VV box mod.. they're on the cheaper end. Best and cheapest way to check out VV and see what you may enjoy.
What I dont understand is... to get the voltage up to be able to reduce down in a VV they must stack the batts dont they, so whats the deal?? How do these devices get the Voltage up to be able to reduce down??

They have a special booster circuit, that boosts up from 3.7 to 7 or whatever it is needed.

I've been stacking 3.0v batteries for a year or more now, haven't really had any accidents, while in the mod. Using AW LiPO4 CR123s right now and they are great. Very easy way to get the 6v.

The only time I did have an accident is when I was carrying some used batteries in my pocket with some keys and other metal objects, which seems to have shorted out one of the batteries, which made it very hot, so I just disposed of it.

Ive just looked at acouple of VV mods out of curiousity and they stack "x 3.7V batts in there, so how is that any safer, I di also try 2xAW Lip04 cr123's 2day for the 1st time, brilliant, if they stack them in a vv mod then why not just stick to GGTS and stack them in there, thats what im going to do>.. :)

Be a little patient Grant:)

If you want to play a little with voltage you can buy a very cheap device and try it. That way you will have an experience about this

Its been a while, now, my friend -- it forced me to buy a couple VV mods just so I could screw around with stuff....:(
