Happy birthday to all of the VV Woodvilles!

And to mine specifically: 4/28/2012 Order # 4109 vv bloodwood 1.

This device has been excellent and trustworthy. It has been with me every day as my primary PV. Thanks, Rob, for the excellent piece of gear! I appreciate your work.

I was trying to tell if the button was different now. Did you send it in for the button change?

Can't believe it is two years already! One big run of VV Woodvils and it was done. People that got one that night or from classy sales were very lucky. My three rotate in use. Two had the buttons changed out.

I did. I'm not sure if I got the same new one as most everyone else. I didn't send mine in on the "recall". Mine held up OK until February 2013 and I waited for it to fail before having it replaced... and that experience sure endeared me to REO's Mods as a company. I mailed it on a Saturday. It was back in my hand by Friday.

About three weeks ago, I thought the button was acting up again, but it must have been a bad atty or maybe something got in the button. It misfired on and off a few times for a few days, but after a good cleaning of the 510 threads and a new 306, it went back to behaving in its normal reliable and excellent fashion ;)

Six, those look beast bro. Now we got to get you on RBin' A's. :)

On 2/18/2013, I bought 9 feet of silica, 9 feet of 28 gauge kanthal, 6 feet of 32 gauge kanthal, 2 hex head screws, and what I assume was the very last RM1. - And there it all still sits right where I set it when I took it out of the envelope. I've never even had it out of the plastic bag.

So, I'm not sure if I'll ever get in to rebuildables. --- That said: I subscribe to your youtube channel. ;) One of these days, your tutorials might just motivate me to un-package that stuff and give it a try. I appreciate the good info you put out there.
