VVG Indicator light

Standing on the patio in the dark vaping away and decided to turn down the power on the vv a bit and I see a faint red light thru the side of the Delrin cover. That must be a reflection. A reflection of what - it's pitch dark. Then I flipped the power switch to the off position and the light went out.

So I deduce that there is an led on the chip? Glad Rob chose to hide it rather than cut a hole in the mod to glorify the fact that there is a freakin light emitting diode onboard like most pv makers might. Thank you Rob. Damn classy is this vv grand.

Then I switched it off and will try to remember to do that when not using.

Do y'all turn yours off when not using?

I turn mine off when I put it in my purse, and sometimes I turn if off at night, but otherwise it's on all the time. I've wondered now much battery juice that little light might be using, but it's not much so I don't really even think about it.

I first noticed the red light in the VV Woodvil's. Wondered how much battery it took too. I try to remember to turn off my VV when not using a lot or at night.

I never turn mine off . I wasn't about to cut a hole in the mod for the light

Kind of forgot all about the light but if memory serves it changes from red to blue when fired ?

Yes if I remember correctly red when idle blue when ingesting nicotine

Does it turn both red/blue when batteries are drained? My Buzz Pro does...so maybe VVG as well?

I know, that's why I made this thread right? I figured I wasn't alone! I have never heard it mentioned on here. I am a big fan if the fact that it is concealed too.

There are some that want the light they also want a built in flat screen microwave- gps . I can see why they like these but its not my style to build mods like that . I fought vv for the longest time every time you add something into the chain its one more thing that can go wrong .

I'm gonna cut a hole so the light is visible, hook it up so it blinks continuously then go through a TSA security checkpoint. I need some excitement in my life.

No I don't turn mine off ever and yes i can see the light on mine it also turns blue (or goes out if theres a short) when you press the button

So thats the pupose of the light. I thought it was a surveillance system you ment it to be undetected to keep an eye on us.
