You should be able to get a lava tube second hand, that should give you some control over your vapour being a Variable Voltage device. It is not variable wattage unfortunately

With VW being fairly new tech in ecig terms, I reckon you'll struggle to get a VW device in the US. China may be worth a look though

These are mods with acrylic outer casing, not metal. Basically the Zmax version 1 in acrylic. 510, doesn't fit Ego threading. Batteries will be extra.

I picked up a version 1 Chrome going for US $120, but got it cheaper than $120 as they had a discount at the time. The version 2 I linked above is a good deal for $100 - with the extra RMS as well. I ordered one.

The Acrylimax might be a good option...within the price point mentioned. The previous link didn't show many color options. This one might be a bit better. Search results for: 'AcryliMax'

Acrylimax and Clearmax use the ZMax curcuit board so they are VW. It's in the description.

Both the mods I linked are vw, and both at $100 or less. The Zmax version 2 is the better of the two.
The acrylimax is the working of a Zmax version 1.
The Powertube Zmax is version 2, which has added improvements. I don't know if the discount code still works - it was a great deal with 20% off.

There is a new one for $40 that looks nice, but may be junk. You may want to give it a shot. I am waiting for some reviews, but don't have high hopes for a $40 device.

You can also check the Versa. Its 65$ for a basic kit ( 2 batteries and a charger ).
