5 1/2 weeks.thats a while...wondering if i should place an order now or just go with another mod..

The site says 15 business days but that is not accurate at all. I've only heard good things about these mods but, I guess, you need to be patient if you order them. Supposedly they are shortening their ship time (and currently have a sale), but due to the fact that they haven't fulfilled their older/pre-sale items, I don't know what to tell you. I'm still looking forward to mine though, hopefully.

I don't think my order will ever arrive. I ordered on 9/8 i believe. The wait listed on the website is extremely misleading. All i can say is that this mod better function as housekeeper, chauffer,& nanny. I'm not exactly a happy buyer at this point in time.

My wonderful little GLV mini took around two months to arrive (part of that was it getting held up at the border for a while in shipping), but let me try to put you all at ease... The wait was totally worth it! Shortly after it arrived, I ordered the 5V version, and got in on the pre-order for the 18650 version - now the waiting starts all over! I must be a masochist (sp?).

They are that good!

My mini goes everywhere with me in the front pocket of my shirt with a 6ml bottle of juice to drip. I've dropped it from heights varying from 5 feet to 2 feet multiple times, on carpet, tile, hardwood, and concrete (once), and it still looks amazing. No dents or deep scratches. Just a few faint "character" lines on the polished base and cap. I really need to remember to be careful bending over to pick stuff up. It just shoots out of my pocket :)

Not to throw too much cheese in this post, but they really do take a lickin' and keep on tickin'!

bmwjen, just pretend you're waiting for Rob to update the stock on his website :) I promise you'll like it as much (if not slightly more) than your REOs. I sure do!

I was in on the pre-order for the GLV2 SM, and the wait was agonizing. It was so great, I bought another-another wait. Then as a reward for not buying ANY e-cig stuff for 90 days, I rewarded myself with a GLV2 mini and waited again. With Jay's sale, I decided to try out a 5V along with a GLV2 XL Mini, and am waiting. I haven't been disappointed with my products, and therefore the wait has been worth it. When they get here, they get here!!

Well, on day 47 my GLV SM arrived. It was actually one day late because USPS "missent" it to another post office. I got an "all matte black" SM an I'm actually pretty impressed. The button is fantastic and the size is, well, aptly named. I had a little problem with the atomizer connection but with a little allen wrench adjustment it fits all my atomizer/cartomizer configurations. One slight gripe is that the powder coating is slightly inconsistent (a little silver underneath showing) in a couple areas but not really that noticeable. It hits very well and consistent with Boge cartos and a cisco LR 306 (looks nice with a drip shield). I think I will be using it primarily with a cisco HH .357 though, it kicks like a mule. I would recommend this and other GLV devices to friends IF, and only IF, they can sort out the extended wait times. 6 weeks for a mod is almost triple the amount I have ever waited! I know they supposedly have remedied this problem and, if they do, I think they will have the edge on some other companies mainly because those darned buttons and the very clean lines of the mod.
