Anticipation of taking my first vape is terrible. Every cigarette I smoke tastes worse and worse. I may not even try the 555 I am getting from Dawn for a while lol. Every morning I get up I dread lighting a cigarette. My mouth tastes like.....well you know. I can't wait to be rid of these things. To be rid of all the health issues, the cost, the inconvenience, the STENCH! I have tried everything, gum, patch, nicotrol inhaler, Chantix, cold turkey many times, even considered hypnosis. I know if anything will work this will. My 20 year habit will finally be gone. I will be able to do all the fun stuff I used to do. Hiking, biking, chasin' my kid with an air soft gun lol. May even get on a skateboard again but I doubt PV's will make falling on my keister feel any less painfull. SO looking forward to this. Glad I found this place and made some educated decisions about what to get.

Hi Drewcifer! I just got my V2 yesterday and I love it! I started with a 510 in September and nary an anolog since. Just a reminder--be sure to burn off the primer on your brand new atomizer (it tastes terrible!!!). I accidently inhaled some and bleh!

I got a free sample of PureSmoker menthol with my V2 and it is pretty good.

Hope you enjoy vaping and if you have any questions, it is usually pretty easy to find the answer on this board.

I have to agree - I have a few 510's and silver bullet 6volt mod and an assortment of juices and a KR808 with some karts on the way from V4L. I smoked for 14years-Marlboro/parliment - Same day i got my stuff i stopped smoking analogs - I just can't believe it !!! Its been about 3 weeeks now since i had a ciggarette - i tried one yesterday because my friend was with me - smoked half of it and threw up!!! i can't even stand the smell of a ciggarette now !!! Even though i smoked for Sooooooo Long!! Its a Miracle!!

Great bunch of people here. I found the wonderfull world of vaping post to be the most helpfull of all. I keep refering to it like an owners manual to the boards lol.

Going to WalMart to look for PG/VG. I will need it for when my DIY kit gets here. It has 60mg juice in it. This way I will feel I have SOMETHING here lol.

Man, I felt EXACTLY like you, right up to last night, when my 510 showed up in the mail box. During the wait for my 510 to arrive, I dreaded lighting up, primarily due to all of the posts on this forum stating how much pleasure they all got from vaping. Talk about feeling left out! I haven't had an analog since I took my first vape last night at 10:30 pm. I get all the nicotine I need, along with the sensation of smoking (throat hit) so the craving for an analog just isn't there. I had a 30 second craving for analog last night, but it has not come back.

My raspberry e-juice (36 mg) went great with my morning coffee, and the rootbeer e-juice (36 mg) is kicking .... this afternoon. I will likely switch over to tobacco flavored this evening, just in case sneaky old king analog tries to creep up on me again.

I have not been brave enough to try DIY juice yet. I have been using menthol only with my 510. Other flavors seemed pretty weak in comparison. But I am going to try some other flavors with the V2 tonight. Other people seem to think the flavors come through much stronger with 5 volts. If I like those, maybe I will try DIY too!

I am really hands on with stuff. I build my own PC's, When I was younger I pieced together bikes, built my own skateboards. This new "hobby" lends itself so well to someone who wants to customize their experience, or you can "buy off the shelf" if you like. I saw the DIY kit from DIYflavorshack.com and it had my name written all over it. It's just CRAMMED with everything I think anyone would need. I plan on doing a full review on it.....as soon as it gets here.

Went to WalMart to get some VG. No dice. But as far as the PG goes they found some. In their warehouse. Ordered it.

My DIY kit came today, went and got the PG, USP grade even but nothing to vape on. Hopefully tomorrow my unit will get here. The DIY mixing kit is awesome and can't wait to start using it. Found a mixing program on here and anxious to give it a shot. Full reviews coming.

Let us know how the Prodigy v2 is. I have the Joye 510 and know I need something with more of a punch. Am thinking of going to a 6v but searching around to find out info on everything I can before I make a move. So really want to hear your feedback. Happy vaping!

If you come up with any good recipes from your DIY, there is a forum here for DIY where they share recipes. I have some supplies to DIY too. I decided that was the way for me to go so that I could have various strengths to meet my nicotine craving and alter it as it goes down. I could also add more flavoring at the beginning while my taste buds are half dead.
