Just killing time while my new battery charges and figured I'd bug you all a while. Finally decided to upgrade from my V2 cig, maybe one day I'll upgrade to a real "Big Boy" mod but for now I want something portable I can use at work and on the go. Liking the sleek and clean look of the Ego c setup right out of the box, but thought I'd ask if anyone had any recommended improvements, I really like clearos, but I work a blue collar job and am hard on my toys so if/when I get one it will be for home use.

So should I stick with the standard C atomizer/cartridges or is there a better option that can take a beating, but give better th and flavor? And what about PG/VG mix? I ordered a bunch of samples with a 70/30 mix along with the new battery, I'm still searching for my all day vape, but I don't know as much as I probably should and eventually will about the difference in PG/VG.

Any advice, comments or just stories about your first Ego are welcome. charge darn you, charge....

Ive got an mt3 and a reg t3 on the way... if they hold up half as well as my ce3's did, I'll be a happy vaper :vapor:
Im also hoping that they wont be harsh at over 4.2... I havent had the cash to invest in a large variety of cartos/clearos but it would be nice to crank it up without burning for once... if anything the only good the twist has done for me that a regular ego wouldnt have, was a few juices that seemed very sensitive to heat, I was able to drop down to 3.2....
Dont get me wrong though, Im not knocking the twist... it is great at what it does... I just havent had the luxury of experiencing it all :D

Depending on your definition of 'hard on your toys' and 'blue collar job' I'd be cautious with a twist / spinner as an at work device.

Ive killed 5 twists / spinners, the longest Ive had one live was 63 days. Anything with a vv adjustment wheel on the bottom is too fragile for me to use while working.
My go go vv fury goes to work but stays in a safe place, no more carrying a bottom spinner while working for me.
I use 3ml cartomizers as a delivery device while working, no leaks and when I break them I aint out much.

Finally got it fully charged (yes it did come with a partial charge, but I wanted to get the full effect so I let it sit til the lil green light came on) and frankly I'm not impressed with the type A atomizer that came with it. They're not horrible or anything, but not what I'm used to or expected, weak throat hit even at different voltage settings and I miss the heat I get from the cartos and clearos I've been using.

I think it's gonna sit on the shelf for a couple days while I order a Vivi Mini Nova and some blank cartos. I still think it's gonna be a great upgrade to what I was using (a V2 cig-a-like) I just need to get the right setup.

Might just be the juices I'm using, but I tried both the stock juices I got from V2 and several of the samples I have from ECBlend All of which are a 50/50 PG/VG mix. I have some 70/30 on order from a couple other vendors, I'l try the atomizer again with those but think the carto's are going to be my go to for work.

We also just upgraded to twists and vision 2.0 (2.4OHM) clearomizers (myvapestore) from V2 cig, recieved them earler today, I'm setting here vaping on monkey juice (from Indy vape shop good stuff) same juice I was putting in the V2 cig cartos yes it was good but OMG like night and day, I can't take a big hit on the twists/clearomizer like with the V2 but very happy, one more learning curve ahead
No burners for 3 weeks today

Still waiting on my cartomizers and my Nova to come, but I did just get some new juices in the mail today and figured I'd give a couple a shot in the atomizer setup, these are a bit thinner PG/VG blend that what I was using and actually work fairly well as far as vapor and taste, but still not getting a good throat hit. Playing with the voltage up and down the scale doesn't seen to make much difference to TH, does drastically change vape and taste so I know it's working at least.

These are 18mg juices that I've been using and have always gotten good TH with them, have some 24mg stuff on order (I like a good wake up jolt in the mornings) I'll give those a try too, trying to give the atomizers a fair shake, but so far I just don't think they are for me.

Not a bad product by any means, don't want to scare anyone off of them, but like a lot of things about vaping, what works great for you may not be what the next guy is looking for, and it could just be my juices aren't designed to work well with atomizer heads, I don't have a huge variety yet, so far only have juices from 3 vendors and just 2 different PG/VG mixes.

I first bought blucig did not like them at all, then I got the 510 automatic did not like the battery life but saw tones of good reviews so I got the EGO-C loved them got thru a full day then I read some where that the EGO-C Upgraded battery had a feature that if I pressed it for 10 sec it switch to a VV mode and it vapes good and also I have dropped it several times when I bend to pick up something or reach something for the patient and still running good!
