currently in the army smoked the last 6 years solid, at times 2+ packs a day but my current norm is about 1/2 a pack... read up for 2 days, bought a no box kit from cignot, and im anxious to stop smoking... i ordered 40ml of different flavors, how long do you think that will last? should i go ahead and order more, as well as additional batts and atomizers? i dont know if i will like it yet, and i cant build any mods out here because i dont have tools or supplies available...

any tips or advice appreciated reading the forums has inspired me to change my life and stop smoking

First of all, Thank you for your service to the fine country! Keep up the good work. You might want to have extra supplies on hand since it does take a while for stuff to reach you. You can never have too much juice can you? Those cignot ladies will take real good care of you.

I have already had a couple people ask me about it, because i was discussing it with someone else and they overheard the conversation.. one guy made jokes which was slightly discouraging, but he did bring up a question i have now.. How do people generally react when they see it? Also what kind of juice is something nearly everyone likes? I smoke newports, and figure i will enjoy a strong menthol, but dont know who's is strong and what not... im trying to read up on this but these are basically opinion type questions, because i need to make another order for some juice i guess since it might take 2+ weeks to get my mail and i want to stay away from analogs once i start

Your going to need a PCC if you MOS is out in the field mostly...and pending your access to a computer you might need to pick up a wall outlet USB converter to charge it.
Or some cell phone chargers will fit the PCC (if you where state side I'd tell ya to hit up walmart for one...the base might have one)

I was a menthol smoker yet I have never vaped anything menthol or tobacco flavored.
I love chocolate, vanilla, coffee, caramel, and watermelon.

Military Spouse here, Hubby is headed out again soon, the 510 from cignot.com is what he takes with him where ever he goes, he uses the mega battery and it fits perfect in his arm sleeve pen pocket, he can carry 2 of them. For just the safe side of everything I send him 10ml of juice per week so in a month he get 40 ml But he always has left over and he is a average vaper not non stop but vapes a good amount. He use 4 batts that he rotates in and out of use. i want to get him the Ego but he said he likes having them fit in the Pen slot on his sleeve.

well i am a welder, so about 99% of the time i have power, thats not going to be an issue, and on the liquids, i put in another order just anxious for it all to get here... i really shouldnt have time to vape as much as most, so i will probabl be hard on it for a short period of time like 5-10 minutes, then not use it for an hour or so... how do people react to it initially? i have had several people ask already and i dont even have it yet, but i was told that i will have to treat it like a real cig...

First of all thank you for your service.

I am prior Marine and server in Kosovo, Thinking back about how it was there if i would of been vaping I think I would make sure I would stock up on the following:

Get extra Attys. This will be the one failure point that will leave you stranded. I would suggest you place 1 big order for maybe 5 attys and a few 30 ml of juice that you know you will like. Menthol or some of the fruit flavors are good flavors to vape on.

I would also recommend that you get multiple Batteries or maybe look into getting one of the smaller mods like the eGo or one of the durable ones like the Silver bullet.

If you need something on the go then the mod will serve you better sinve they last longer. So if you are outside the green zone for long periods of time mods are the way to go.

That aside stay Hydrated vaping leaves me thirsty all the time I make sure I have plenty of water during and after vaping.

Cignot is a great choice. Terri is wonderful and will help you day or night.
Like Bare, I also was a menthol smoker, and detest most of the 'menthol' juice I've tried. I started with Cignot and love love their EcoFresh Pure, for when I want something light. I also have found that I love their English Toffee. For some reason I am craving (and I'm not talking lightly, but like PREGNANT craving) anything that has caramel or toffee, or the like. I also liked Cignot's Staypuff ok.

For batteries, the PCC (as other's said) is a must for the 510, it can charge one battery while you are using the other one. I also found a multi charger to be quite handy. The five one does me fine. Stock up on some extra attys, batteries, juice, (and you can easily find good deals on 'extras' in the classifieds.)

If you PM me your addy, I'd love to send you some juice. I went a little overboard this month and have plenty to spare! I'll send some extra carts too.

As to "what will people say"... you will get over that soon. I started off with a "real" looking cig (white, red tip, blah blah) and found that smokers wanted to try it and non-smokers didn't have a clue. Now that I've switched to the 801, it looks like a pen, and no one gives me a second look. I'm home most of the time anyhoo, so the few times I'm out and about, I never get a comment. I even wear it hanging around my neck in a Leyford Lanyard. Looks like a pen!

Thanks for all you do. You have good advice already and that was so sweet to be offered a mod. I found it cheaper to just order extra kits from cignot and have extra charger as well as attys and batts. Let us know how it goes when you get it.

staying hydrated, is key to surviving the summers over her, but i am in northern iraq, so it is much milder than around baghdad, which is where i spent my last deployment... and i am lucky i get to stay inside the wire nearly all the time this deployment, and things are alot more quiet than they ever were before, but that can change in a minute... i appreciate the support guys and gals just wish my mail would get here... everytime i smoke i think about how bad it is for me, but i still crave it and feel like i need it if this works for me in this stressful enviroment i will be elated, and know that i can help others as well

First off thank you so much for your service My son spent his time in spec forces out of Brag. It was very nice to be offered a mod. You will probably want it !
I agree with most on here, batteries are something you will want lots off and a multi charger along with lots of extra addys and juice considering how long it can take to get there.
For most people it seems that a real cigarette tastes and smells bad after vaping for a while so you dont want to run short.
I found that out today after vaping for 3 months and walked by a smokers area and about gagged. Wow the things we didnt know as to smell when we smoked!

that's so great that you ordered from cignot! Vicky and Terri are wonderful ladies and i'm positive they'll assist you in any way. as most have mentioned, i also recommend getting a PCC, some extra batteries and attys. as far as juice goes, the 40ml of the different flavors is a good start but i would look into getting some more. you might end up really liking it and most people end up vaping more than they would smoke.

as for flavors, most (although not all) end up not liking the taste of menthol or cigarette brand flavors. you can even look into flavors of stuff that you like to eat and/or drink, but can't necessarily get your hands on the real stuff over there. for example, Ms. T's Bakery has wonderful flavors like French Toast, Cheesecake, Irish Cream Coffee, etc...

i would also get juices in different nicotine levels. you can vape the highs when you have short periods of time to vape, and then switch to the lower ones when you have more time. plus, the higher levels are great whenever a big craving comes along.

so everything just came in, i couldnt wait to open it and check it out.. the adventure begins, batteries are charging and i blew out the atty's hooked up my pass thru and put a couple drops on the atty... the menthol is good, not a newport, but minty with eucalytus taste... i didnt have any empty carts, so i mixed a lil with the marb that was in there and i cant taste anything other than maybe the atty and the menthol.. the marb seems to be non existant, but thats not really a bad thing i ordered an auto and manual batter and after trying the pass thru i think i should have just got the manuals
