Ha! I just ordered my first online stuff :)

I only started vaping 3 weeks ago and was lucky enough to have a store in the complex where I work. So today I placed my first online order with MadVapes and now I have to WAIT! Man oh man, I hope it doesn't take forever!!! ;)

I've already moved from a regular eGo to the Twist and have now ordered a Vision Spinner as well! I'll be experimenting with my first tanks and rebuild-able cartos! I also bought some exciting new flavors at different nic levels that aren't offered in my local store. I find that I really like to vape heavily at night but 24 mg nic was keeping me up for hours and hours! 11 mg isn't quite cutting it for me so I've got some 18 mg and 16 mg juice coming.

Ok so yes I spent too much money on this so far but I'm really into NOT SMOKING CIGARETTES! I still miss them somewhat but only in theory. As soon as I get a craving and get my vape on I end up laughing at myself for wanting a nasty puke stick! Since I started vaping I've had a few analogues and man are they SO gross compared to my awesome flavors of juice! :)

How do you all stand waiting for your stuff all the time?????

I have taken to tipping the mail carrier heavily on just about any holiday I can justify. I tend to get my deliveries rather quickly these days. I have even seen him skip houses to get my mail to me first and my packages come to me in pristine condition. :)

The above is, of course, all fantasy that plays out in my head every time I have an order shipping. But I do leave a little something in the mailbox for my mailman during Christmas. He is a really cool guy and I have had a few very nice conversations with him.

As far as waiting for an order, I tend to Add to Cart and forget it. The less I think about it, the faster it comes. Another trick I have learned is to order on a Friday. The mail moves on Saturday and Sunday, even though there are no deliveries on Sunday. Since most people tend to forget about mail over the weekend it is a good mental trick to play on yourself.

I typically order from Mt. Baker Vapor, in Washington, on a Friday and on Monday I get my juice (thank you James and crew for such fast turn around on orders). I am in Virginia so I consider that to be very fast delivery. Also, the more equipment and juice you have on hand, the less you will fret over deliveries. I have enough juice to last me through a rather long zombie apocolypse at this point. :)

haha! I can't imagine my mailman "skipping" anything to get to me... he's kinda rotund! lol

I really should start leaving a nice tip for the guy though, he's super cool and being that I finally purchsed a home this year it would be good to settle into the neighborhood properly with this kind of thing.

Thanks for the advice on when to order, that makes good sense. I guess we'll just see how this first order goes and if I like the juice from this vendor. I'm all about building relationships with good companies and "fingers crossed" we get this off to a good start!

What do you leave as tips? lol CASH MONEY right?

I live in an apartment complex where the mailboxes are centrally located. I wish I could tip my mailman to bring me my stuff extra fast. I'm so impatient...always checking the tracking on my packages. When it arrives I will definitely know. Hope my latest order makes it before Christmas :rickroll::mail::mail:

I tip my mailperson every year around this time and thank them for excellent service. You'd be amazed at how much they appreciate the gesture! Made a friend :) Whenever I order something in the mail, I just forget about it. Go on with my life and am pleasantly surprised when a package arrives. (Good thing my spouse makes sure the stuff eventually gets here :))

hi Jazzy,
I'm tipping my guy for sure this year! I remember when I was a kid my mom always tipped all the service people that make our lives so much easier. I think it's an idea that just sort of fell to the wayside. Life just isn't as personal as it used to be :(

Maybe I'll do it your way and not track my package (yeah right!). Being pleasantly surprised sounds really nice :)

Instead of buying clearo's that you just throw away when they stop working you can buy rebuildable ones. I think you just have to change the coil and the wicks...guess I'll find out when they get here! LOL. I'm just not into throwing away plastic all the time so finding something I can work with more long term is important to me.

Here's a link to the rebuildable ones I bought... Smok Tech Rebuildable Top Coil Tank Kit, Purple

Sad that so many things fall into the "void of forgotten" as new generations come and go. There's a sense of entitlement with the younger crowd that's kinda sad(imo). I'm not sayin' every mailperson is tip-worthy but those that are deserve it are really impressed by it, which is nice, but sad too.. That tells me that almost no one tips anymore. I'm not "made outta money" as my father would say, but even a "Hey, thanks for all the hard work" can go a long way :)

It arrived! Wow, before Christmas even! My order was complete and nothing seems out of place. I only ordered on Thursday so to have it arrive by Monday (Christmas Eve) is fantastic service!

Very happy with my new goodies, especially the Vision Spinner! I've tried a juice or two and am filling a vivi nova now :)

Hope you're all having wonderful Christmas's so far... I'll have to write Madvapes a good review if I like their juices too!
