It's probably not this hard for you old timers, but waiting on my first 510 that I ordered from e-smokey treats is hell. The excitement of having my first real unit, knowing it's already arrived at the post office, and that it's on it's way now. It's almost unbearable!

Should be here in about an hour.
I'm sure I'll feel better then.

Just got it!

Had a real scare with the post office, the internet tracker said it wouldn't get here till tomorrow! So I called, and just as I got off the phone with them, the postman came with my shiny new 510 and assortment of new ejuices in hand! Dude, this rocks!

It seems to make a lot of smoke, but it's lighter than I thought it would be. Either way, I'm just jazzed I got it all. I've been so excited about this!

Yup. I studied for DAYS! 1st full day I had it, put my PCC in my pct with my 510 and was smelling something burning very quickly. Fried my atty.

Ordered more today. So yep. Orders a few more attys, but more importantly, don't do what ever you did to fry the one you have ever again! 8-o

I remember when I was waiting for my 510 starter kit. I ordered faster shipping and I was expecting it to show up like 2 or 3 days later. But it took a week and a half.
Every day I tore through the mail box excited for it to come.

Yep.
Everyone says to go with the manual. So far, it's less work than the first ecig I picked up in town. That one had an automatic battery, but the carts it came with were useless. So I learned how to drip with it. Wasn't so bad, but wow, it was a lot of work.

So I ordered this one. I was excited, you know? It came in the mail, and I smoked it for like three hours straight. Then I got the bright idea that I could get more juice into it by cutting up a coffee filter and doing the straw mod to it. It did hold more juice, but I think the coffee filter might have cought fire inside the atomizer. Frak, that was dumb.

Oops.
Good thing I have a spare.

Just ordered four more, some more batting, and some better ejuice from PerfectElectronicCigarette.com. They shipped really quick when I ordered the mega battery. Hopefully they come through again.

Yeah, it's a huge deal. So far, I've been vaping for five days. I love it! Why didn't we invent long life micro lithium ion batteries earlier? I'm loving it, even though it has proven to be more labor intensive than smoking those primitive fire sticks.

It's great! I haven't gone to bed unable to breathe in about three days, I feel better, have more energy.. and you're not going to believe this but I think it cured my lactos intolerence too. No possible way to explain it, but I can eat milk products without getting deathly ill now. Had a huge milkshake this morning, felt great. I'll do it again!

I just got my first 510 in the mail, and I think I've been a little too eager to play with it this afternoon. I mean, dude, there's a billion flavors of juice, endless cool mods for the 510, acessories, mods, where do you even start with it?

Maybe at being responsible with the hardware, me thinks.
Any tips?

Biggest thing to do is make sure to not let the atomizer get dry...and don't forget that new attys have a bit of a "break in" period before they hit their peak performance. The Pyramid Tea Bag cart mod works well, and I'm told the Blue Foam plug is even better but I haven't tried it. I think I'll probably stick with dripping and use cartomizers when on the go and I can't drip & drive.
