Ok, so off burners (love the lingo I'm picking up in here lol) for a week now from 1-1.5packs a day. I've been vaping only a small amount, relative to what I read some of you are doing...about a mL a day. I've read here and there about your taste buds adjusting to life without smoke but havent gotten a clear indication of how long it usually takes before they settle into a new normal. Thoughts?

Mine were 2-3 weeks. During that period I would experience vaper's tongue every day. After three weeks that deminished and I started drinking more water or something to confuse my taste buds (contrast to what I was vaping... IE I vape fruits, so I drink coffee). Also when you brush your teeth, brush your tongue.. just good hygiene. Just stick with it and once you get over that hump your juice will start to taste different.

Mine took about 2-3 weeks also and I had the vapor tongue too.. Drink lots of water. I even got in a habit of brushing my tongue a few times a day to try to help it a bit. It finally went away.. I do taste things quite a bit more. I'm just not sure if it's my tastebuds regaining strength, or where I was allergic to cigs and would always have a stopped up nose.. :)
