Where I live, only 2 models of e-cig exist, 21st Century and PureSmoke. Both of which only come in two flavors of Cartomizer: Regular and Menthol. The walmart gas stations(MurphysUSA) in my area all carry 21st Century.

I started with these but quickly found out they suck. They are in fact both proprietary and no parts will crossover with anything else. Thats when I found this forum.

I agree with Fant. Walmart will sell something that's easy, cheap, and that WORKS. It won't be garbage, and it won't be a $50 510 clone. So if someone buys a walmart PV for $10-20 and says "hey this is cool, I wonder what else is out there?" It's a big boost because they didn't waste $150 on some mall-stand POS, and get (upset) about it. That'll make them less leery of upgrading to a riva for $50 or an ego for $60ish because the people that paid $80 for their blu are definitely sketchy that something $20 cheaper could be better.

We'll see how it works out. If anyone sees a PV at walmart, snap a cell phone pic and post it, because I wanna see what they're sellin

I hate to say it but I don't want to see wal-mart sell them. They have the money to buy in large quantities so they can outsell any small vendor in the nation. Grant it, I would still by from the small vendor unless I had to have something quick. This is just another way for big companies to take control and I don't, personally, want to see that happen.

I feel ya, WalMart is the least of my worries, they will undercut alot of small suppliers on crappy chinese made 510kits, The mod market will survive. I'm a loyal GG follower, and will continue to be, the artisan craftsman will survive, they already have a loyal following. Competition is never a bad thing, especially if all you are doing is rebranding someone elses garbage. I hate to use the phrase, but, you can't polish a turd.

My concern is now that it has been decided that the FDA can regulate it as a "tobacco" product, that means nic juice is a tobacco product, and selling tobacco via the mail is a no no. Who are the people who already have a distrubution network for tobacco products already established? Big Tobacco. My fear, whether justified or not (time will tell,) is how long is it before they are the only ones offering nic juice? Then we will never know what kind of crap they are putting in our juice. It's already proven they loved to play with cigarette ingredients. Who's gonna stop them from doing the same thing with juice.

I'm sticking with my small suppliers! They have been dedicated to me, I will be dedicated to them!!! Laws will be written, life will change, some will come and go, but if their loyal fan base sticks by them then all of us will benefit.

Just my $.02

If Wal-Mart makes a go of selling e-cigs, the curious will buy them Those who just want to give them a try will drop out pretty quickly, but the folks who are truly serious may be inclined to do more research and find places like this forum. At any rate, if Wal-Mart makes money selling them, then Wal-Mart will do what is necessary to keep making a profit, and they can be a pretty powerful political force.
