Cigtech has some really good 510 to kr808d-1 adapters. I've ordered them from there and other places but the others won't let no air come through. I have to get more myself.

What's their site?

EDIT: I guess my internet was acting wacko, because cigtechs.com wasn't working... But it is now! So nevermind

I have adapted my Geo to 808 cartos - and looking to try some V4L too - but they get really hot. I saw in another post somewhere that a 901 or 801 tip could go into the carto and lessen the heat. Anyone know anything about that? I saw some tips on SuperT mfg site but I don't want a cold stanless steel tip. Plastic will do just fine.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

:)

I use 901 carts, just file or cut them down just above the vents and remove the cap and ring from the carto and you're good to go. You can leave the oring if you want and just file it down a little more.

I just modded my 901 manual batts by filing the threads flat in one spot and at the edge about halfway through the outer material. They use carts fine like that or the 901 atty.

I imagine a 510 to 901 filed the same way would get carts and 901 attys going on the 510 manual batts.

I use 801 soft tips that fit over the outside edge of the carto, so you can even leave the white cap on the carto. With the 901 tips you have to remove the white cap.
