It isn't so much that the flavor is waning as it is that your taste buds have gotten used to it. Try switching to a different flavor for a while and that should help.

I've tried that. Really does this happen even after 4 - 8 direct drips? Example, one vendors watermelon disappeared quickly; yet a home mix from a friend was vaped all day without flavor reduction. Another senerio. Vendor X's Dunhill does not make it through a few fills, while Vendor A lasts FOREVER. I just can't wrap my head around this.

I realize that concept is true with food. I'm wondering if it is more due to some type of "flavor carrier" for a lack of better terms.

The flavor carriers are usually PG and VG. VG can mute some flavors, but it doesn't make them wane after a few drips. I do notice that some of my flavors seem to "wane" after dripping it several times. Like I said, it could be due to your taste buds and sense of smell getting used to it. It could also be the difference between vendors, as you pointed out. Flavor is such a funny thing for people and some might like one vendor juice while others can't stand it for whatever reason. Not all vendor's are created equal.

I notice the same thing. I wind up switching flavors throughout the day and even take several when I head out to work in the morning. There are a few that will last longer than others but I believe that is because the flavors are more "complex" ... Bobas Bounty can start out with a tobacco taste and then "morph" into something more chocolate or cinnamon. Also, I do think your taste buds adjust ... after all they adjusted to analogs to the point where you really didn't "taste" them for what they are ... burning weeds. Just keep mixing it up!!!
