can always try EMDCC (ego mega dual coil cartomizer). I got mine from vapingzone.com. eGo Mega Dual Coil 4 ML Cartomizer LR 1.5 Ohm, 5 Pack - Stainless - E Cig : Joye eGo & eGo-T | Boge Leo | Cartomizers | E-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes | eGo Tank

A lot of people won't like this for the twist because of the low ohms. I keep mine around 3.5-3.7 volts.

Second these, no muss no fuss. These are what finally let me put down regular cigs. They are relatively inexpensive, they just plain work and they are very consistent. On top of that they hold a ton of juice so there is not so much fiddling with them Unless you're specifically only looking for a clearo, these are a winner.

The only problem I could see with the Vivi Nova is the bulk, but I use a Wraith VV that happens to have a flat top and is actually just a hair wider than the Vivi, so it fits perfectly. On an Ego or such though, it would be a bit bulky.

I actually really like the way it looks on my Twist. I can see how some wouldn't, but I think it's gorgeous. Just need to get a SS Ming to complete the look I see in my head.

Hello again,

I received today my new 1000mah eGo twists. I am currently using a Ce4 clearomizer on them, prior to the twist I was using just a standard eGo C battery. I've always struggled with burnt tastes but today just solidified for me that these Ce 4's are far too unreliable and hit and miss. I NEED something consistent and hassle free. I am willing to spend money on something better. When the Ce 4 works, it works very well, but this happens very rarely. 90% of the time it is completely burnt.

The Ce 4 I have is 1.6ml (so I think that's 1.6ohms as well?) I have my voltage set to about 3.8 , anything above that and it's a horrible, horrible burnt taste.

I would rather go back to cigarettes at this point as the burnt taste is just so foul, it seems very unhealthy for me to be inhaling all of this burnt plastic, metal, wick crap.

So I need something better and the problem is I don't know what that is? I know Ce 4's are notorious for being inconsistent, and I've had the biscuit with them. I am in Canada, so I am not sure if that makes this any different for placing an order for something different.

I am open to suggestions! I have done all I know how to make the Ce 4's work. I have 3 of them and only 1 of them "works" the other two are ALWAYS burnt tasting, regardless of what juice, voltage or how clean it is.

I am beyond desperate for something better, this is ruining my vaping experience and making me want to smoke again.

(sorry to whine, I just spent a lot of money on this system and it's failing me hardcore haha)

Don't give up and go back to the stinkys. You are off of them, don't ever go back.
Newer vaper to but I agree with the others that recommend the VIVI Nova. I have also had pretty good luck with the Kanger T2. Try to get the V2/ newer verison. Got one two weeks ago and haven't put it down. Also might try the KR bottom coil Clearo for ego. Bit of a pain to fill but if you like a tighter more ultra light type experience, these are it.

OCDP I'm in the same boat as you. Smoked my last analog on Sunday so pretty much a noob but I got an eGo Twist and CE4 on Monday and have been enjoying vaping. I ran my CE4 down to around .6ml and noticed a burnt taste (like burnt cotton, bleah). I jumped on the forum and did a search and read Vapoor eyes er reply "If they are the short wick you have to tilt the clearo every so often to wet the wicks."

I slapped myself in the forehead then turned the C34 upside down for a few seconds and swirled it around then took another hit. Burnt taste gone and nothing but goodness again. I will eventually get a bottom coil cartomizer but thanks to this forum I was able to immediately resolve the issue. Thank you Vapoor eyes er for suggesting an easy fix.

I also want to say that this forum is a great resource and I appreciate the collective knowledge, sharing, and support everyone exhibits.

Also a noob here but I just picked up a vivi nova and so far its awesome. Was using clearo short and long wicks I prefer the long wicks. I just got the vivi an hour or so ago so i am not sure how long the love affair will last but I really like the simplicity of them and the ability to just change out the heads instead of the whole thing. Also got a rebuildable stardust but the nova seems better at first vape will see how they hold up comparatively.

Cool Ringo. How did the flavor pop off for you? Did it last from toot to toot or would it go dead on you?

So far its good but its brand new...Everything I have tried so far has worked great the first few hours. I will try to pop back in and let you know how i feel about it in a few days.

I am liking the idea of just replacing heads a lot though. I am spending way too much right now trying new things out heh.

So far its been very consistent.

You may want to consider switching to a Cartomizer/Tank comination. Much more consistant (IMHO), and probably cheaper.

I get the Boge SR carto's, and I got a Phiniac tank. It's been working great. Never get burnt hits, and always get a good hit. I've been chain vaping this rig all day at 5.2 volts, and not one dry hit.

I think the downfall with clearomizers is gravity. You always have to remember to tilt, and if you forget... yuck...:)
