Want to paint my stingray clone

I'm getting my stingray clone this friday (hopefully) and want to paint it to cover the fake logo. Is there a special paint anyone can recommend, tips, warnings, cautions, or advisories?

I would suggest anodizing it rather than painting it. If you do paint it make sure you don't paint ANY threads or connections, and that you don't get ANY paint into the button or inside the tubes.

But in general anodizing would be more durable and doesn't significantly increase electrical resistance, unlike paint which acts as an insulator. Plus it just looks cool.

You can even do black anodizing.

You may try buffing it out with some Lt Gray 3M ScotchBrite pads, finish it up with a white one. Just a suggestion.
