i would suggest you get the kanthal and either silica or cotton, or whatever type of wick (i enjoy cotton) and try rebuilding your kanger coils first to be sure that rebuilding would be for you before dropping on a rba...

OK cool. My buddy said the SID wont do much on a drip tank. I'll need to have 30a battery maybe a Chi u or k100 and build the coils using ohms law. I just want a little more flavour and vapor. I will try to rebuild a kanger coil tonight. What about switching to a carto tank for the SID ?

idk i never used a carto, i went clearo - genny - dripping for delivery... and ego vv - svd - reo mini (with a reo grand on the way)

you can rock a dripper on a regulated mod... you can just do and manage more from a mechanical, but at the same time, if you are not safe, aware, etc you could cause serious harm to yourself, the cause, and possibly others... another plus to regulated is some, and the ones that are coming out with the newer technology will eventually surpass mechanical in the realm of power output...

without sub ohming the best watts you can manage are just over 16 ish... there is the dna 20, which fires at 20 watts, dna 30 which fires at 30 watts... and the duke which can fire up to 50 watts...

there are options out there and soon regulated will surpass mechanical... but mechanicals will have a longer lifetime than regulated...

i have the smoktech DCT tanks.. just a regular 510 6ml... but now they come out with the U-DCT which is supposed to be better.. the cartomizer locks inside instead of being free spinning and sometimes spilling juice... so thats the tank i go with... and it gives killer vvape sessions.. easy to assemble n replace.. n refill.. cheap too...

If you are wanting better flavor and vapor, I would recommend a kayfun. You get to build your coil and it will work on your current setup.

I got one to upgrade from my pt and I love it!

I'm sold on the KAYFUN after watching RIPs video on YouTube.

Two questions, where can I buy a legit kayfun (don't think clone is a good $?).

Can I get a glass tank for it instead of the plastic tank ?

Got a third question do I have to use double coil or can I wire up a single coil on the kayfun ?

check out this, its reoville... Reos Mods check out a few of the threads... redeyedancer the porcupine is the man behind reo, read like 10 threads, take a look, you will be interested

Thanks for that link but my mind is pretty much set on a Russian 91% or kayfun lite. Since I really can't budget out $90± on the russky 91 I may get a kayfun lite clone by hcigar (unless there are better kayfun lite clones?).

I also recommend the kayfun! just got my Kayfun Lite Plus clone a few days for $38.50. It's the newer version with adjustable 510 screw, sealed fill screw and bigger air hole. I'm absolutely loving this thing. Only thing I highly recommend is a good cleaning, what I did was take a miniature tube brush "used for cleaning baby bottle air holes" and clean around all threads to get out any grit stuck in them. Then wash with hot water and dish soap, then let soak in isopropyl alcohol for a little while and rinse again with hot water. Without doing this it tasted like I was vaping machine oil "very familiar as I work in a machine shop". Other than the first cleaning I think you'll love it if you decide to purchase one. Don't think Hcigar makes a KFL+ but I've heard pretty good things about the EHPro. Mine is the revised 2014 Tobeco version.

russian 91%, kayfun, kayfun lite and predecessors and/or clones of any of the aforementioned simply do not come with glass options. though, there is the stainless sleeves and they do vape well. i have the "black edition" and wouldn't complain one bit if i were stuck with just it. a little fiddly, but gets the job done with great flavor. though, i'd rather be able to see when my tank cracker juices were getting low instead of filling up all the time or being surprised with a burnt hit when they get low.

once you're done playing around with all the tank options, we'll see you in REOville. i'll save you a seat at the table, a cup of tea and a few crumpets. ;)

no problem man, doesnt affect me any... i shall share the word but i wont push anyone... just trying to help you save yourself some money... it costs more now... but 90% of reoville talks about how they wish they would have gotten a reo sooner, and the money they would have saved...
