Would like to try this but does anyone know the effects of inhaling sweeteners?

Sucralose (Splenda) is a Chlorocarbon.
It is in the same family of chemicals as DDT and PCBs.
Don't worry, it’s not DDT, it’s “DDT-Lite!”

Google: sucralose toxicity

this stuff is bad to ingest, i don't want to think about what inhaling it will do...

and the fact that splenda is one of the 'safer' artificial sweeteners is kinda frightening......

I'm not going to get into a debate over this, but you really have to understand that most people exhibiting these symptoms either consume large amounts or have particular sensitivies to sucralose or its metabolites. When people have adverse reactions to the product and automatically assume it's bad for everyone, it's just ridiculous. It'd be like a person with a penicillin allergy calling for it's ban. Sure, we aren't sure it's 100% safe, but if that's the case what are you doing vaping? and since you're so concerned about what goes into your body what were you doing smoking in the first place??? Besides depending on how long some people around here have been smoking, they may have ACTUALLY smoked DDT

That aside, in my little bit of experimentation, I really liked splenda as a sweetener. I only used a tiny bit but to me, there was a slight sweetness on the inhale and almost nothing on the exhale and the taste didn't build up in my mouth like some sweet juices have. I dissolved some in water and added it to some Loranns apple flavor, which in turn was added (10%) to dekang tobacco flavor along with about 15% VG. So far, this is the only flavor I really like. I'm actually kinda sad because it's almost gone.

since Stevia is 'natural' (never looked into it actually), I'm assuming it's better to use?
Tobacco is natural. Is that safe to use?

Actually, what research has been done (anecdotal, mostly) indicates that stevia is probably safe. Other countries have been using it for decades without any significant indication of side effects. But you shouldn't assume that it's safe just because it's "natural".

Stevia, like pretty much all naturally occurring sweeteners that aren't cane sugar or corn syrup, are heavily lobbied against by the companies that make cane sugar and corn syrup. It was actually illegal to sell it in the US as a sweetener until only a couple years ago. More info here.
