Hey,

I just found out about vaping and it looks really great.

I smoke cigarettes daily (about half a pack a day) and herbs on the weekends, I saw that there are few vapes that can vape both herb and e-liquid

like the V2 Pro Series 7 and I think that could be great for me, but I'm afraid that it could be a jack of all trades and master of none.

If the fact that it can do both mean that the e-liquid expirence significantly worst then I don't think it worth it cause If I care a lot more about the e-liquid expierence than the herbs expierience.

What do you think? the vapes that does both considered good or should I just buy one that will give me better e-liquid expierence?

Also about the V2, I understood that after 20 refills I'll need to change the cartridge and it costs something like 20$ without shipping, how long do 20 refills lasts for a half a pack a day smoker? Will I need to change the cartridge after 20 refills no matter what vape I choose or is it specifically a V2 series thing? cause it sounds a little bit expensive in the long run, isn't it?

I will appreciate any help, thanks...

oops and welcome to ecf. hmmm, we cannot talk about that 'other' stuff on here so you may have to alter your post.

I would stick with strictly vaping for your experience.
jmho.

eta also, that V@ you are posting about is a rip off. Look around the forums for better equipment and cheaper alternatives

Avoid the big brands.
Beware the thousands of fake reviews on fake reviews websites.
If the shop doesn't appear to sell Kanger, Joyetech, Eleaf, Aspire, Smok etc. - Avoid at all costs. They will be selling those manufacturers hardware only hiding it with re- branded camouflage to charge rip-off money. Then they pay review sites and individuals to convince you.
This does not happen in most other consumer item markets. Take care.

Sorry, I just wanted to know about the vapes that do both, and didn't know how to write it in a way that won't mention the other stuff as well.
Anyway I tried to edit it as much as I could in a way that the post would still be readable, but if there is still something that is against the rules please tell me and I will edit again.

About the regular e-liquids vapes then - can you maybe recommened the ones you think are best?
I understand that the vape mods are better than the pen vapes right? so I thought about buying a vape mod but I want something that is not very big and give a good taste and vape..
I'm pretty flexible on the price cause I prefer to buy something good that will last.
The best way is to buy each part from to brand that master it? how do I know if the parts from different brands will fit? or should I just buy a complete kit from one of the good brands?
and thank you all for all the fast answers, I appreciate it.

Mods are generally better than pens. Slimline pens are generally less reliable than 'fat' pens. It's all a question of power. Old tech vapes low power. New tech vapes from almost zero vapor to huge clouds you can see from 100 metres. The latest mods and tanks are outrageous and probably unnecessary in the real world. Just be aware; the higher the power capability of a tank the less suitable to vape at the equivalent to the smoke from a cigarette.

Get yourself the Smoant Battlestar from misthub it's like $40. Get the uwell crown 1 or 2 tank(holds the juice)some replacement coils for said tank. Get four lg hg2 18650 batteries and an xtar charger(many models choose the one you like all are good). Read up on battery safety and follow what you learn. I mix my juice so I can't recommend an Ejuice vendor. This is the setup I use and it is simple and works great. Get batteries and charger from orbtronic. Get the tank from myvaporstore or element or several others. Search this forum for any questions you might have or ask and take your time it's a little overwhelming at first but after reading and interacting on this forum for a week or so you'll have a pretty good idea and enjoy yourself and good luck and try not to use run on sentences like I just did.

For a single battery mod a few good ones are the smok al85 and eleaf istick pico. For a dual battery the smok alien is hard to beat. As far as equipment working together all the tanks and drippers we use have a standard connector so are universal and there are a ton out there that are great. I like my limitless XL and Arctic V12 as far as tanks go but they are not really for someone just starting out as you probably won't want something that strong. As far as drippers I have several different goons made by different manufacturers. Good batteries and a good charger are a must. The lg hg2 is a good choice for the batteries and there are several good chargers on the market. Good luck with the switch and if you have more questions someone here can answer them.

To keep the cost and confusion down a wismec rx mini starter kit will do you fine no extra batteries to buy, no external chargers to buy, it is very compact and you charge the battery via micro USB just like your smart phone. The full kit should come with a tank system and the coils last about 3 weeks if you don't run them dry and burn your cotton. Elementvape.Com has the full kit for 47.00 bucks which is a very good price and they are a reputable seller.

Just start vaping. Don't worry about your smoking. I started on a $15 vape pen and a $5 bottle of liquid. It was my setup for only 4 days but did what it needed to do. In that time my daily cigs went from 25 to 5 with no effort. The inexpensive low powred device proved that vaping might work for mee. I went to a vape shop and got a fancier rig, N mini, vision spinner 2 and vaped a 1.8 ohm coil at probably 8 watts. (2 1/2 years later I'm vaping a 1.4 ohm coil at 15 max watts). My advice is get something inexpensive to take the pressure off, just start using it and see what happens with cigarettes. I dual used for 6 weeks intentionally to have time to learn to vape. During that time I stayed at 5 cigs a day without effort. When I went to zero cigs there was little pressure because I knew I'd never stop vaping so the worst that could happen is relapsing to 5 cigs, not 25. If you vape you'll smoke less. if you never stop vaping sooner or later you'll stop smoking. Keep your money in your pocket, be pesistant and patient.

Thank you all for your help, really.
unfortunatly, for a start I have to choose one from all your recommendations (for a start! haha) and it was though but I think I'll order the smok alien 220w that was recommended here and pretty much on every site or video that I saw...
Since it's my first vape I prefer to buy a full kit as it seems like less of a headache...
apart from the kit all I need to buy are 4 lg batteries, a charger, e liquids and some more coils right?
now I see there are a lot of different coils for the baby beast, and I know it's a matter a personal preference but what are the most commonly used?
since I'm not from the US I nees to pay 24 dollars on shipping and because of that I prefer to buy all the things I will need in the short run at once..
I'm ordering the kit and the coils from this site: Smok TFV8 Baby Coils

now as I said I really liked the smok alien, but the only drawback that kept me from already ordering is that I understood that it consumes much more e liquid than other devices.. is it worth it?

I think it's insane to recommend that a first time vaper looking to get off smoking buy a high power subohm tank and multi-battery mods for "big clouds". If you smoke mouth to lung you're better off starting with a tank like the Nautilus 2, Triton mini (both are top fill), original nautilus mini etc and a pico mod or some inexpensive mod. With that setup you will likely need higher nic (18 to 24 mg) juice to not have nicotine withdrawal. but you will vape only a few ml a day. If you inhaled straight to your lungs then low nic juices and a tank made for subohm might be in order but I would start with a single battery mod and a tank and coil setup for moderate power.

Remember that you can use any tank that has a 510 connection(standard now). So if the baby beast is too much to handle or uses way too much ejuice to run, then all you will need to do is buy another tank. i.e if you think you want to try mtl vaping or a little higher choose a tank that will do that.
The baby beast coils require high watts and also eats up battery life. A tank that uses something lower --like a nautilus can still be run on the alien 220 just at lower watts.

Just giving example of the total opposites in vaping gear. But one device-mod can do both.

I don't think it is ever insane to suggest a mod that can be used in such a wide range of vape situations. The alien will go as low wattage as the pico and at that wattage will have twice the battery. However as the persons vape needs change as 90% of us do they still have a mod that will do it. 1 mod to rule them all (tanks that is)!

So I ordered the smok alien 220w cause I know that if I'll buy something more simple in a month or two I'll want something better and want to prevent that lol..
I smoked a lot of hookah and im totally fine with direct lung hits and would love big clouds instead of regular ciggarette smoke..

The thing is I ordered the starter pack from fasttech and just assumed they will ship it 2 days later or something but now 4 days later they told me that they don't have it in stock for at least a week from now...
So I thought to change my order to buying only the mod itself (which they have in stock) without the baby tank and just buy a clearomizer sepertaly..
What are some good clearomizers I should look for?
what have the best balance between e-juice consumption, flavor and decent clouds?
flavor is number 1 importance, then the e-juice consumption and last the clouds.
