I'm totally new to this e-cig culture; I got my first one in the mail 3 days ago and have been enjoying it since. I do have a question though, I received a pack of cartridges with my purchase, and they each have a plastic container that is sealed off; when refilling you must puncture this seal with the cartomizer, how do I go about refilling these cartridges with my own e-liquid? Thanks everyone in advance. Any details would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like a 4081 or something... really, really small. Not sure how to refill those, but you can always drip.
I'd imagine if you just peeled all the foil off, exposing whatever it is that holds the juice, you could refill it... slowly. But then how do you keep it from leaking once it's full, but not actually in use?

If you have sealed cartridges, you are puncturing the seal with the ATOMIZER.
A cartomizer is a 1 piece part that holds juice AND screws right on the battery, with no separate atomizer.
Other than that, I do not understand. What did you buy - what exact model?

+1 - Sounds like a Ego-T or 510-T type arrangement. If so just refill with a syringe through the pierced hole.
It is a 4081, and after playing around with that small plastic piece, I found some polyester that I suppose holds all the liquid. I have come to the conclusion that that is what I will refill when the appropriate time arises. Thank you all for your responses!
My first ecig was a 4081. I quickly moved on to a 510, then an ego, then mods... but I remember that it really wowed me at the time, realizing that...

I remember thinking that the little juice holder in the cartridge was really, really small. I started 'dripping' in the first week, even though I didn't know that's what it was called at the time. On mine, the juice cup just popped out of the outer shell of the cartridge. So on one of them, I took that out & kept the shell just to use as a mouthpiece over the atomizer. 2 or 3 drops of juice on the bridge (the mesh-looking part sticking up out of the atomizer), replace the cartridge-shell mouthpiece, and you're good for 7 or 8 good drags. Try it out.

I doubt you want to remove all of the foil. Use a syringe and slowly add your own juice to it through the hole that was already made.
