The only tool I use is a precision screwdriver set, one that has mm shafts. 1.4mm driver for the vivi nova heads, and the 2mm for my rba. Just tightly rap the wire around the shaft, widely spaced doesn't matter, because the trick is to just compress the coil down to the end of the handle. Makes a perfect coil every time, the compression evens everything out without causing the coils to touch. Then just slide it off the driver and feed through the cotton wick.
