Fair enough, well MWA offered you one for free so good luck with that. I keep mine on my original GGTS, looks nice but if I want to use that GGTS I remove the top and use a new one, much better.

I linked the minute and time of the cap wanted in a review video.. If it wasn't for me happening across the pic that emonty posted, I would not have had a pic at all. I mentioned straight-away in my 1st post that I have not received the unit yet. If I misread you guys as being fatuous, I apologize... With the amount of knowledge and posts on the GGTS that you have, I thought I made it clear on what I was looking for. Then, being asked to swap an integral part of the AVS system for the old-style atty cap which would have rendered my AVS inoperable.. Being new to the GGTS, what if I didn't know that, and made the swap?
Anywho.. Again, if I misread your intentions, I apologize. I have read helpful and constructive posts from both of you while researching the GGTS. I thought my chain was being yanked since I am new here..

Buggs offer for a swap was actually very nice, Could have bought the new CT off me recently for as low as $35 and it's dam hard as you are finding to find someone willing to lose their old tops, mainly for looks, definitely not for function.

you made it clear what you were looking for, with or without a pic/video you would have received the same responses. the issue likely had more to do with why you were looking for it, and what you thought lacked in the unit you were receiving. you are getting a 4-in-1 adapter, but you want an older one on top of it. simple. i apologize for not fully appreciating the inanity of the request. as someone new to the GG i wanted you to understand that what you indeed are getting is what you asked for, in functionality and integrity, if not in supplemental and nonessential aesthetics.
