Just wanted to share my experience as a new vaper. I got my first e-cig 8 or so months ago in england. It was an "E-Health Cigarette". Crappy product IMHO. Did not hit well, little vapor, taste of pre-filled carts was horrible, atty died in 3 days. Just all around lameness. This turned me off to vapes for awhile. Stopped in to 7-11, picked up an XhaleO2. Was a huge improvement over the E-health and kept me goin for awhile. I now have a Joye 510 (due to recommendations from this fantastic ECF community). I love love love my 510! I now PREFER vaping to smoking any day. I am so excited to have a new hobby. vaping is a lot of fun and it's nice to discuss my new hobby with experienced vapor gurus and newbies like myself alike. Thanks ECF for being so awesome and really helping me get on my feet!

I'm glad you sticked with it and eventually came back to vaping. You really cannot go wrong with a 510 which seems to be one of the most popular and dependable models out there.

Hopefully you'll be able to quit cigs for good, if you haven't already.

Welcome and congrats on your 510. I have 510's and recently moved up to the eGo. I'm in vaper heaven. I use both the 510 and eGo(which all my 510 stuff fits) and couldn't be happier. I'm glad you found an e cig that works for you and now you can start trying the wonderful world of FLAVORS Nothing like a butterfinger (TV's tasty fingers) for dessert instead of a bowl of ice cream. I might actually start to loose weight too

I also think vaping differs significantly from analog smoking. New products are constantly hitting the market making it more exciting and encouraging conversation.

You will find, though, that there is a ....load of drama on various vaping forums. Don't let that dissuade you from joining them. I'm fairly fed up with reading all kinds of b.s., but I have to realize that it is important to take the bad with the good.

Good for you! I just got a 510 and love it as well. Now that I read an eGo will fit, I love it that much more. Keep on keeping on!

And thats funny you mention so much drama. I was JUST thinking that this place seems so friendly and welcoming for an internet forum. The motorcycle forum I frequent is annoying, every post turns into a fight.

Talking about reviews, I've been going hog wild watching every review I can get my hands on. Is this just a temporary phase (because I'm totally obsessed with learning everything I can about these things) or do you long-timers also still do this? Even though they are all pretty similar, they just don't seem to get old...

I can't speak for anyone else but my 'thing' is juice reviews and new flavors, I've been really good for 2 months and now I've gone hog wild again
I agree with the OP ECF is a great place to learn and exhange views and ideas - saved me a lot of $ I think coming here first last year and not impulse buying.

I can imagine! I'm definitely taking pointers from ECF users who have experience, and I'm trying to wade into this slowly. But I can already tell that this is a toy that will not lose its entertainment value any time soon.
