ive been vaping couple months now and have no desire to back to analogs. i used to be a GPC lights smoker 2 pad....i go through 'tween 4 or 5 mils of juice a day which to me it feels like im chain vaping and im cool with that. the problem however, is this...i have 18-14 mg juice and i get that high pitch rinnging 'teeen the ears due to over consumption of nic (im assuming)...so...what am i looking for ...well, i do want the Th still...and lots of it...i want vapor and lots of it...and at the same time i want to lower my nic level. at this point im not yet using LR cartos (using a riva and BMF presently) but i hear the LR's would increase TH so i will try that. can someone recommend a juice that has a good TH at oh...12mg? i like BWB applewood tobacco, if that helps....so something close to that would be ok.

Everclear is functional, cranking up the voltage is amazing as well. 100%PG 0 nic on a 1.5 ohm dual coil cartomizer at 6 volts=don't really notice a difference.

Cranking up the heat, adding a little pga, or adding a little menthol/and or cinnamon seem to be the best ways to crank up the TH. I'm still not down to 0 nic but these bits of advice have helped me gain the TH when I play with low nic diys.

i am not a menthol kind of guy but...i will give it a try. right now i have only 18 mg but once i get my order of 12mg i will add couple drops of vapor bombs arctic ice...i have that on hand.

you could also try a bit of cinnamon in recipes where you feel menthol wouldn't enhance the taste

Though I've read it a thousand or more times on ECF, I'm not at all sold on the idea of the nicotine being such a big factor for TH. In fact, I have a great example in front of me right this minute. I'm vaping 5.0v today with dual coils. I brought 4 cartos to work with me. 2 have BWB applewood and 2 have TopVapor caramel tobacco. Both flavors I have today are 18mg nic. Both have similar PG/VG ratio, but the TopVapor uses alcohol based flavorings and I'm led to believe that BWB does not.

From the exact same device at the exact same voltage creating vapor that is visibly indiscernible, the applewood hits so much harder than the caramel tobacco that there is no comparison. -- Yesterday, I was vaping this same set up most of the day but both flavors I had with me were from the same vendor. I had BWB applewood and BWB nutty. The applewood hits a ton harder than the nutty.

I haven't found much that hits harder than applewood. get the temp up with the LRs and I think you'll still be quite satisfied.

Mn,

I loved the way the LR attys felt with my Riva but I was worried about the cost of those attys and worried about the mosfet switch in the Riva. I had heard their life was very short compared to regular attys. So, I bought a variable volt mod and use regular attys. Vaping at 4.3 volts w/regular attys taste exactly like LR attys on a 3.7 device.

It feels like smoking a real cig to me. I take a 3 second puff and get a ton of warm vapor and excellent throat hit, even though I am using 100% VG juices ( which don't give you great TH).

Yes I bet the nic is the ringing ear culprit.
If you like menthol, clove, mints, or cinnamon theses will add TH. I've gotten to the point where I add a drop or 2 of said to complement the juice I have and add TH. If you got a 0 nic say menthol you can lower the nic of your stock juice.... eJuice Recipe Calculator here you can get the stats for lowering the juice you have. One of these days I'll get to higher volt mods. LOL till then........ I like felling my vape this way.
