Wanting to make my own juice, but might be a waste of time.

I've been vaping a couple years now. Started on analogs like Ego's then to variable voltage/wattage Ego winders and now I'm onto the big boy toys. I have 2 mods, 1 Caravela and 1 Nemesis. Also I have a Kayfun 3.1 by Hcigar, 2 of the new Kayfun Lite Plus Version 2, a Helios dripper, and a 3D Auto Dripper. My 2 years of vaping I pretty much always used fruity flavors like lemonade, blueberry, watermelon, strawberry, etc.

Here's where the problem comes in. Couple months ago I bought some juice called passion. It's made by Obsession which is a line from Space Jam. Passion is strawberry custard and the best juice flavor ever made. (In my opinion of coarse) After vaping this sweet buttery custard type blend, I just can't do simple fruit flavors anymore. None of them taste good like they once did to me. I also bought a juice called mothers milk from suicide bunny, another fantastic buttery custard type juice that taste like strawberry milk on the inhale and s'mores on the exhale. In the last 2 weeks I've spent over $100 dollars trying other fruity juices from Giant Vapes and those will more than likely end up in the trash. If I try to make my own juice, I don't know how to replicate what ever the taste is I have become addicted to. Not sure if it's the custard flavor or what. Honestly I don't think I've ever eaten or even tasted real custard. Any people out there that has tried mothers milk or passion, will know what I'm talking about,

Sorry for rambling so long, just trying to find a way to spend less on juice but keep the flavor profile I'm looking for as I have ruined myself on typical fruity flavors.

Mothers Milk is a good e juice. I know nothing about making juices but I think it would be hard to replicate a juice. It would be kind of the same thing if you went to a fancy restaurant and ordered a steak and you loved it because of the seasoning that was on it and the way it was made. I know if I was to try and replicate the seasoning on that steak it would be near impossible because my pallet is not good enough to tell you the difference between basil and oregano when it is mixed together.

That is just my opinion maybe you can with a lot of trial and error.

My opinion: If you are going to do DIY and be happy about it, it will be about the experience and learning, at least as much as saving money or reproducing a vendor's secret recipe or two. It is relatively easy to make juice with one or no flavors (and save money if that creation satisfies you), but the mixing of flavors to reach a target and being happy with the outcome is an art.

I'm going to buy some pg/vg and some nicotine, and about 6 to 8 flavors of custards, creams, vanillas, cheesecake, etc. from the prices I found I can get everything I need for under $80. The pg and vg bottles are each 200ml so thats 400ml total I have to play with. That will go a long way just making 10ml bottles to start off with until I find a recipe I like,

That's the way to go, Warren3d, and since you already have a lot of fruit e-liquids, just make up some DIY single flavor batches of cream, custard, vanilla, etc., and experiment with mixing those with the fruit e-liquids you already have. No need for those to go to waste! I've been DIYing for months, and today is the first time I actually made a batch of pineapple cream, even though I vape it all the time; I just usually fill my tank with a mix from my single batch bottles of pineapple and favorite cream flavor.

Have fun; DIY is groovy! :)
