I'm having second thoughts on buying a Provari. ATM I have the Apollo SS V-tube (lambo), wanted to upgrade to a Provari, but is it really worth the money. The Vmax looks pretty impressive too and the Zmax will be even better.

What would you do? Wait, get a Vmax or just go for the Provari?

I live in Belgium and a Provari Mini with 2 batteries and extension will cost me about 250$/200€ , can get the Vmax with batteries for about 150$/120€

Plz help me

Just my personal opinion, but for the small difference in price, I'd pick the known quality and durability of the Provari every time. I don't own one, but remember that you get a warranty you can count on with the Provari. Who will you call if you have a problem with the VMax?

If you get the VMax from a good vendor they will replace it if it stops working no questions asked because Smoktech has a 6 month warranty and I've seen some vendors offer extended warranties for it as well.

You should buy a Provari. Power what Wmax provides is PWM (pulse width modulation) and it is a carto killer.

You need to look this: A PBusardo Review - The V-Max by SmokTech - All About Vapor - YouTube

I`ve been using Provari 6 months and I can say it is a worth of all the money I paid...

Just a heads up...that's a old review of the V1 VMax and is no longer valid. They have since then released a V2 VMax with a upgraded chip-set that corrects all the issues with PWM.

IMO I would wait it out and see how the ZMax goes...you can use either one 18650 battery or two 18350's. You can set your wattage up to 15 watts and no matter what ohm carto/atty you put on it, it will vape the same and you can also change the voltage if you don't want to lock in a wattage.

Don't get me wrong the Provari is a very good device that has proven to be durable and provides a great vape. Just giving my opinion about the V/ZMax.

Well, as I was going to order from Provape the delivery cost are really expensive (30$) and if I ever have to send it back, it'll cost me pretty much the same. In belgium there are no Provari resellers, in Germany a couple but they ask about 250$/200€ for the device only :(

Without PWM, your ecig would have a multi winding, step up, step down transformer inside and a large wire wound rheostat (60s technology). PWM is a method by which variable voltage can be produced using an oscillator with a buck/boost circuit to create a range of stable voltages with small parts. It's a good design and it's inevitable that it be used based on current technology. Otherwise, you have only the battery voltage with which to vape or a linear regulator that requires stacked batteries to go over 3.7v.

For someone in another country, warranty repairs are a different story. if you have to send it back to the manufacturer from Europe, you choices are the U.S. (Provari) or China (past the warranty from the vendor for all others). The Smoktech 6 month warranty comes from a china shipping situation. Who knows when or if it will come back. I checked the shipping from the U.S. one way and was given a $47 price. You also have to complete a customs document. By the time you do that, you could just buy a new variable voltage mod in most cases.

In the U.S., the Provari is the hands down choice if you expect to need warranty work.

I have ordered the Vmax v2 in gunmetal, I just couldn't wait for the Zmax. The higher pricing on the Zmax was a bummer too, for that money I'd rather save a bit more and buy a Provari.

I paid 126€ delivered for a startset (Vmax + 4 Efest batteries + Vivi Nova + Xtar charger)

V Max V4 Gunmetal Ultra Set

Best startset I've seen :D

Plz mailman ring that bell asap!!!
