So as much as I complained about price gouging w/ regards to non-clone APVs and ProVaris... etc... I ended up getting impatient and also got a better job so I decided why not spend ~$400 on a setup... which brings me to my ProVari Mini + Z Atty Pro....

I don't mind running 1.7Ohm plus coils, and it appears the provari is very concerned about the health of my batter because whenever I wrap a coil under 1.5 ohms it spits nothing but E2 over current errors until i take the voltage down below 3.5V. I was planning on putting my Triton clone w dual 2ohm coils (1ohm total) and running it but it appears i'd have very little room to breath with the provari. Are there any VV mods that will totally ignore battery/my safety and just run when i tell it to run and/ or run under 2.5V? The provari is worried i'm going to blow a coil (much more likely destroy an IMR than a coil) and is cranky. I need a mod that won't complain. Or am I just asking to much of the provari?

I'm cool with explosions I can buy a new provari if it blows I'm using LiMn not Li Ion. And yes it will make huge clouds been there done that problem is tastes burnt... I mean if you fire once or twice ya it's cool at 3.2V but hold that button down for a few seconds and whoosh flavor gone then E2 error or E1 Short. Let me rephrase the question:

ARE THERE ANY VV MODS THAT WILL DO A SIGNIFICANTLY LOWER VOLTAGE THAN A PROVARI

Oh yeah and i have an M16 mech mod in the mail but there must've been a typhoon or something because USPS says it's still in HK

Why do people even buy APV's and expect Mechanical performance?

Would you try running a 135amp Welder off your 15amp TV outlet? Same logic.

Does not matter if it is a 510 stick battery, an EGO type, a Provari or a Mechanical mod - Use it as it was intended and it will not let you down.

Porsche 911 is not made for 4 wheeling!

Hey, did you know the Porsche 959 won the Dakar Rally (aka 4 WHEELING)... You're statement is ridiculous, the only thing the APV was designed to do was vape... it's not a precision piece of engineering. It's some circuits and wires and a tube. And btw, nice analogy

959 Highly Modified is not a 911, nor my 359 convertible.

Thought only monkeys slung poo.
Assuming you know what you think you know, Build one.:glare:

APV's are purpose built devices designed to Maintain or INCREASE OUTPUT and maintain STABLE Output.

All a F-22 Raptor is, is some circuits, wires, and tubes..
 I can tell everyone here has such a great background in engineering... I don't even know where to start with that one. I hope with the intermittent at best internet you must get in the ozarks you can elaborate for me exactly how an F22 is like an APV. I'll be waiting with bated breath.

LOL "Development of the 959 (originally called the Gruppe B) started in 1981, shortly after the company's then-new Managing Director, Peter Schutz, took his office. Porsche's head engineer at the time, Helmuth Bott, approached Schutz with some ideas about the Porsche 911, or more aptly, a new one. Bott knew that the company needed a sports car that they could continue to rely on for years to come and that could be developed as time went on. Curious as to how much they could do with the rear-engined 911, Bott convinced Schutz that development tests should take place, and even proposed researching a new all wheel drive system. " - wikipedia

If I felt like it, I would build an APV. Please continue explaining how a vaporizer is like a car, or a jet or the space shuttle. I'm enthralled, learning SO much!

Then this is a waste of all our time, isn't it.:glare:

Don't pretend you came into this thread to help anyone out. You came in here and asked someone (God?) the question why anyone would even want a VV mod to do what they wanted it to do (not bad grammar, actually what you asked). So you offered nothing from the start. Thx for your time, we will all miss your "facts" about cars you know nothing about and your attitude. Now run along.

Actually I just didn't, don't understand why you would pass on the simplicity of Available Mech mods that are designed to perform under the conditions you propose. Seems more logical than want a manufacturer to provide something a low percentage of buyer would want/need.

When you are truly tired of this, a polite response would effect a simpler end. :)

Have to get up early for work.
