I asked about the V2
How would anybody know if that exact one was the first? No serial number, there are plenty of black chrome Provaris out there...

Because the finish is different, that's why. All I asked was if the photo was the original V2 before the new finish came out, I'm not sure why that's confusing?
Well I'm telling you that the black chrome finish was introduced as V1, black satins are all V2.... Black chrome can be upgraded to V2 by sending it in to ProVape...

Wow. Black chrome is the finish you posted. It was originally V1, but if he says it's V2, he probably sent it in to ProVape for the V2 upgrade...
I had the exact same finish Provari that was originally V1 upgraded to V2...

Thats the black chrome and it was never available in V2. It was actually discontinued right around the time the V2 came out. I had two black chromes and they are beautiful but the finish wore off which is why they were discontinued for the new satin black which is a stronger finish.
Its very well possible he sent it in to provape for the v2 upgrade. ANyone with a V1 provari can just send it in to provape and have it upgraded for 20 bucks. There is a way to tell if its a V2 . If the lowest voltage starts at 2.9v then its a v2. The V1 provari only went down to 3.2v i believe

All I asked was if it was the finish before the current finish. I don't like that finish anyways, so I'm glad I was introduced to ProVape when I was.

Dude maybe it's you who needs to read, the subject of the thread and then the body of the post was very clear. I asked if it was the first V2 with the glossy finish before the current one. Seriously everyone wants to pick an argument on here. It's not my fault you read it incorrectly, str8 replied correctly the first time with no confusion.
I'm closing the thread now since the answer has already presented itself. I don't understand why an argument was started in the first place. But, it ends now.

The V2 was released on February 20th of this year. We were already in the process of phasing the black chrome out and incorporating the new satin black finish. It is possible that we were still sending out black chrome models when the V2 transition took place.
