Hey all. Having the first major problem with my ecig experience. Washed both of my 901 Attys on thanksgiving day. Did something dumb maybe.... I soaked them in hot water with some Bath and Body Works hand soap my girl had at her house. Dunno why I did.... anyways after letting them soak, I tred them both. Both attys didn't seem to be working very well. Now, can't get either to work. I even tried running them without carts on my Screwdriver Mark 2 and don't even hear a "sizzle". So now I'm on the verge of ordering some more 901s or 510s (have the 510 adapter).

So... does washing with soap ruin them? Today I soaked them in rubbing alcohol and boiled them. Still nothing.

Or...

Did water/soap leak into Screwdriver and short circuit the bottom connector?

The battery still charges up as usual, doesnt seem to be problem there.

I'mma order some more attys and juice and hopefully it ain't my screwdriver thats messed up.

The smokers polident method worked for me. And plain hot water flush..started with syringe...wound up w/ my daughter's ear/nose syringe from when she was little

3 days dry time...and a air compressor blow out...and they spark, vape alot and have been surprising clean :)

I surprised myself..was gonna throw away... but it did better than ok :D

I Never use water to clean my attys if they even need cleaning. IMO
If they do need a cleaning I use alcohol 91% for a few minutes only and then blow dry.

Could be your attys are still damp. If this is the case they will act like they are bad. Blow them out from the mouthpeice end real good and allow to dry. Blow dryer will also work..

Drip a few drops of juice on the atty bridge before using again. I dont usually ever clean my attys.
I get a month or more out of them this way. Always have more attys on hand. They dont cost that much.

Try good attys from Cisco spec attys or Ikenvape.com LR atts and you will eliminate a lot of problems attys cause.
Good luck!

Thanks for the answers yall. Turns out its something else. I just got fresh 901 attys and fresh 901-510n connector and 510 attys from madvapes. Fully charged battery. Tester says its fully working!!!!!!!!! at the connector.

And yet, I put the attys or adpater and attys on and nothing!!! It cant be all these attys new and old are dead. I think theres a problem with the connection to the attys. Maybe something happened to the connector?

Im ......, so I bought a 510 box mod because this screwdrvier mk2 is pissing me off. Ive had to smoke marlboros because I can't this friggin thing to work.

**Update**

There is nothing wrong with my atomizers. There is nothing wrong with the SD button, or the batteries. In fact, I unscrew the atty, press the button and use a voltage tester on the connector for the atty on the SD. Full power. However.... whenever I screw in a 901 atty or 510 with adapter, I MIGHT hear a little sizzle, but pretty much nothing. So I think it has something to do with the threading as the atomizers aren't making the connection to the SD connector. I emailed TW few days ago but have yet to hear back. Anyone got any advice on fixing the threading so they make contact? I have a 2xAA box now, but don't wanna toss the SD!!
