washers made from papertowels.jpg

THOUGHT I'D SHARE WHAT I BELIEVE CAN BE A QUICK SAVE.
After having a few of my mods fail, to what I believe was juice leaking down the 510 screw port, I started using these.
A hole puncher makes a very close fit to the 510 threaded bottom of all tanks.
Placing 1 or 2 of these paper washers on the tank bottom has stopped the leak from getting into the mod.
Also lets you see how much the tank is leaking..

Nice Idea. And since you appear to be the 1st Person to post this, you have the Honor of Naming them.

So what are you going to call them? Bounty Washers?

LOL

I actually suggested the same thing using paper towel a few weeks back in a different thread HERE. I personally use some of the tiny o-rings from old EVOD and ARO heads and put around the 510 pin up at the base so that it is sealed externally when the tank is screwed onto the mod.

Since these made from shop towels are likely more durable, these may be a better idea. Feel free to name them as you see fit.

Great idea I guess....maybe give the name of tank, so no one buys them

ALL tanks can leak if you make a mistake in wicking them OR you fill it in an air conditioned house then move outside on a hot summer day. These are ideas that prevent that mistake from becoming catastrophic.

Maybe your right, I guess I don't vape those sorts, so it seems weird to me. Rda's?

I think we were all McGyver in a former life! Great thinking, how long is one lasting you?
On half the tanks I use, I change them out with every fill. ( Those are the tanks that leak, or sweat.)
On the other half of the tanks, I'll leave them till I change out the coil.
