Well, I finally settled on fluval with a straw as my cart filler of choice and it seems to be working fine for me. My biggest problem is refilling. I have a syringe and that works great but I usually have to blow out the extra juice in the atty after a refill because it's flooded. How do you tell when the cart is just full enough? I usually can only tell when I see the fluid seeping up from the bottom through the foam... and that's too much.

It seems like a huge waste of liquid to have to do that every time. I mostly just drip at home but I like having the filled carts for my breaks at work.

Do I measure the liquid in the syringe or maybe I have too little or too much foam?

Umm, foam? there should be a wool type fabric in the cart. If you drip at home, I found that direct dripping doesnt work for me, I usually flood my atty too. I use a 901 cart and atty and it does me almost all day and I work outside. I drip in e-fluid into a cart until I see the liquid isnt soaking in anymore. I hope this helps you out.

Thanks for responding!

I may have to try filling without the foam in. It seems like extra work but it is probably worth it not to waste juice. I have fluval foam which is just like blue foam only white...

I did order some carts to try on my KR8 but they were delayed by the chinese new year and probably still haven't shipped yet.

You could fill it without the foam to the proper place then use the syringe to suck it back out. Note the level on the syringe. Use that mark to refill through the foam from then on.

Ahhh... Thanks! I'll try that too! Just gotta find the right level. I have black carts and my eyes aint what they used to be so it's hard to see in there.

The white stuff was all my local pet store had...
Eh don't worry - happened to me too - they had a 'mysterious run on the blue foam' (as per the assistant) so I got the fluval foam too.
What we should've got, apparently, was the polishing pads by fluval they resemble the polyfill but supposedly better. I got some blue foam bits from strictly ejuice already cut up for carts (pet shop still out). 75 cents for a bag - shipping was pricier lol I got some juice off them as well to justify it :)
