wat causes the plastic tank to crack?

Hi fellow vapers,

i would like to ask if anyone knows what causes plastic tank (vivi nova and Stardust) to crack? I used a higher VG (80%) juice in one of them and with 1-2 mins, the tank cracked. Would higher VG be the cause?

Nothing to do with pg or vg ratio.
Its the flavourings/additives.
Avoid using the juice on plastic tanks.

Yeah i did some research after filling my tank full and finding that it drained to almost empty after a night. Wasted a tank!

Yes it wont crack due to the protank being made from pyrex glass

I believe it has to do with the Formation or Presence of Esters.

~I vape with earl grey recently, it does have a subtle citrus after taste; hope it doesnt crack my vivi nova!
