I have a round plastic box about the size of a toilet paper cardboard inner roll. It has a domed screw on lid with a neck strap. There is a rubber seal around the lid. It has a web address Miami Charter Fishing-Miami Beach Fishing Charter Boat-Deep Sea Fishing It says Monster fishing. I got this as a gift. It is perfect. I would try a large sporting goods store or maybe a bait shop. This was probably a promotional thing. I drowned my share of cigarettes. Zip locks don't work.

Thanks stormy, that sounds more like what I'm looking for. (10-4 on the ziplocks I don't know how many pack of analogs I've waterlogged :() BTW do you happen to know the dimentions of it. I also read on another thread about a lexain? tube with end caps. Does anyone know more about these? Also we are literally "in" the water all day floating and I need something that will float, thats easy to use and fairly idiot proof as we are usally quite impaired  (thankyou Budweiser ).

1 1/4 X 3 1/2 It will hold a small juice bottle and at least 3 ecigarettes taken apart. Or together without the juice bottle. It is perfect.

I work around water everyday so I needed a way to keep my kissbox safe. what I have is a clear Lexine tube just a little bit bigger in diameter than my KB With some caps like the kind you put on the bottom of chairs I super glued one side on so it would not come off.Than I put some foam in the bottom so it would have a slight compression fit when I put the top cap on so it will not giggel around .The top cap fits snugly it wont come off very easily. There you have it it floats is air tight crush proof and it is still small enough to fit in your front pocket.I got the tube at the hardware store along with the caps.I made this case for my first ecig I got at the first of the year than I got my KB and have made a couple more to hold spare batt and juice.Whole thing cost like maybe 5 bucks.Just an idea I know without my tube my ecig would not have made it one day on the water.Sorry I don't have a camera would like to show you a pic but it fell in the water.

With a lake trip coming up, just wondering if anyone has any ideas about how to make an e-cig water proof. Maybe not water proof but at least a little more water resistent. Looking forward to some ideas.

I think they are pretty water resistant in the first place. I go canoeing or kayaking a lot. I keep a couple spare ecigs in a small nylon dry bag with wallet and keys and one in a vest pocket (battery side down) where it is not really protected except by a flap to keep it from falling out so it is getting wet although not immersed, and it works fine. I have dropped them twice underwater but just picked them up, took off the battery, blew on the end to dry it off, connected it, and puffed away. I suppose if it sat more than a few seconds underwater it might soak water into the cart, but I keep them topped up so this has not occurred.

Today was a better test. I had a 201 penstyle in my pocket completely underwater for over 5 minutes for an inadvertent swim through rapids. Took it apart, blew on the battery and atty connections, put it back together, and puffed away. Again the cart was topped up so that not enough water to affect the taste got into it and the electronics were apparently not affected either.

I have an idea but now that I've thought it through I don't think it will work because the e-cig needs air... if you cut off the mouth piece end of a camelpack and were able to shove in you e-cig and then cap the end that you cut it might work then just bite down on the mouth piece to open it up and inhale ....but I'm not sure if the tubing is even wide enough

I dropped my EVO in my cup of tea the other day and it worked fine afterwards. The battery part of ecigs seems pretty well sealed.
