Hey everyone I'm looking for a waterproof mod if there is one! I spend a lot of time kayak fishing and there us always a chance of getting it wet. I almost sent a provari to the bottom just the other day but luckily caught it just before it hit the water. Any suggestions? I prefer it be VV

I use some cheap egos when going out on the water. Hardly water proof but at 6$ also hardly the end of the world if it might get wet.
So far they have proven remarkably water resistant. Worse that happen to me was spray straight in my driptip making for a rather salthy vape.

These mods are not water proof.
A member here bought one and dunked it and it died, horribly.
Actually the reo is essentially water-proof. In that it's mechanical and can get wet with no harm. The only thing you might have to replace is the battery but I give my reo a lovely bath once a week completely submerged 
But it sure made for a wonderfully fun read!!!
I still wonder at his choice of vessel to test it in.
I'm just saying, if I was going to test a mod against water and planned to use it afterwards, I don't think I'd have purposely dunked it in the toilet, much less taken pictures of it in the toilet. Or posted the photos for everyone to see how dirty my toilet bowl was.
It wouldn't be anymore difficult to waterproof a mod than it is to waterproof a radio or a camera. BUT, then It wouldn't be vented. It's impossible to waterproof an atomizer, so the PV wouldn't work anyway.
This is what I use when out in the wild:
A couple of years back it fell out of my duck blind, and spent a week in the mud at the bottom of Ogden bay. (my dog found it) I rinsed it off, put a new battery in it, and a new atomizer, and vaped away.
Been vaping away on it this morning too.
So don't worry about being waterproof, worry about being able to fix it if it does get wet.

Like I said, it was WONDERFULLY fun.
I'm laughing now just thinking back on exactly what you pointed out.
I might have to go find it again, in fact. Sometimes I just love ECF.

Sorry to the OP for posting something I hadn't totally checked into.
I highly doubt anyone holds you responsible, but it's cool that you posted it. After all, it IS how they're marketing it (in case anyone didn't see the car-wash video).
Not your fault, the makers of that mod have been claiming that it is waterproof when it isn't.
Here's the fishing mod. Plus can use to charge phone or camera if needed on the water. Will attach with small tether to my kayak so hopefully if it is dropped it won't go in. I haven't ever had one but it seems like a decent mod.
