Watt meters?

Anybody know of any watt meters close to the size of the volt meters used in mods? This is closest I've found yet:

The other info is nice but I'd rather have smaller and just wattage shown. It would be nice to dial in your wattage rather than your voltage.

that would be hard to do i think without using some sort of advanced controller... but that is a neat gadget
but price SUCKS... was thinking of incorporating that into the vape bay but not at that price :/

Would not be trivial to make one, and yes, you would need an MCU, but not an advanced one. An ATTiny or PIC18 would do the job just fine. Use the MCU's AD converters to digitize output voltage and current (requires a current sense resistor and amplifier). Interface serially with a 16x2 text mode LCD display. Actually a great educational project for someone interested in µcontroller programming and circuit design. Making it small enough to fit in a mod would be the real challenge.

the vape bay has ooooodles of room usable lol
oh yeah, they may not be "advanced" compared to others, but still pretty advanced to me lol
