i really dont know lol okay how do you get that at lower levels ??

Ignore the wattage, it's the build that's the key.

On my Alien I have a Recoil RDA with a 0.2 3mm, 6 wrap 26x2 & 32 fused Clapton made of Ni80. It chucks vapour at 80w and can be cranked higher if need be. But you won't have to go anywhere near 170w.

ill try that out thanks and whats the difference between thick and skinny wire ??

One is thicker than the other ;) (sorry I couldn't resist).

To save this getting confusing, I suggest just sticking with your other thread. I'd also suggest doing some research. The questions you ask have been discussed on this forum in great detail and can be easily searched. To explain a lot of aspects of vaping in one thread is very difficult.

Resistance. The thicker the wire the more current that can flow through the wire prior to getting hot. Thinner wire gets hotter faster at lower watts. Thicker wire has more surface area to produce more vape, warmer vape. While any wire can really be tuned to ones liking well enough it comes down to preference. I prefer 26awg Kanthal dual 3.5mm ID 6 wrap comes to around .4 to .5 ohms run it at about 53 watts Japanese organic cotton wicks. It is my bread and butter, i have tried many different coils. For me claptons are gimmicky while there is some difference it is very subtle, the biggest difference over just a round wire coil is the thicker coils stay warmer longer after you are done vaping and in doing so will cook off more juice (waste) when you are not vaping.

To each their own.

In my search for my perfect build i started at 32awg and worked down to 22awg tried claptons, alien coils etc but settled on 26awg Spaced/Macro coils I prefer macro coils because letting cotton in between each ring of the coil allows for more juice to be in contact with the coil also has essentially more juice available to the coil.

Good luck,

Of you want to vape at high watts then use kanthal. I vape dual parallel 24awg kanthal, 4.0 or 3.5 I'd, 6 or 7 wraps...i vape that at 130 watts constantly, I can and do go up at times. Resistance is around .12 to .18 depending on wraps or diameter, although I have got dual parallel 24awg ni80 on right now, 9 wraps, 4.0 Id, 9 wraps, resistance is quite high at 0.4. Smoking it at 100w, I use a rx200 btw. Yes my builds throw masses of cloud, great flavour. I wick with cotton bacon...
