I have the steam engine app, but idk all the specs of the ijust 2 battery. The ohms law calculator doesn't have anything about being single, parallel, dual, or even quad coil. Thats y im wondering. Like with a dripper, whats the difference in a dual parallel coil vs just dual coil, both at the same ohms. Would the dual parallel be considered a quad coil? Does parallel pull more volts, watts, or amps? Just want to have fun with the ijust 2 battery without melting off my face lol, or having to throw it in the trash cause to much fun got the best of it lol.

Hello everyone. I have a crazy question. Ohms are ohms and wattage is wattage right? Will a single .3 ohm coil pull the same wattage as a single parallel .3 ohms coil. I have an ijust 2 kit and im wanting to get a dripper for it.

The ijust2 battery is a direct voltage battery, so yes, 0.3 ohms will pull the same wattage whether its a single 0.3 ohm coil or a single parallel 0.3 ohm coil.

Yes, watts is watts is watts, it's a unit of measure. A .3 ohm coil will draw the same amp loading from your batteries (at the same voltage), and make the same wattage, as any configuration of multiple coils that totals .3 ohms. Where you may notice some difference is in ramp up time. Vapor is not made with watts; it is made by the surface temperature of the coil wire (in contact with juice laden wick). Thus multiple coils containing a greater mass of wire will take longer to reach vapor temperature than a single coil (or multiple arrangement with less mass). This is because you have to heat the entire wire, you can't just heat the surface, and temperature delta varies directly with the heated mass for any wattage.

In essence, the voltage, wattage, and amperage are the same because the resistance (Ohms) are the same. In a parallel circuit, resistance is cut in half, and by that same measure the voltage and wattage is split in half between the two parallel circuits. 4.2v, 0.3ohm coil config, 58.8 watts and 14amps is being supplied regardless, only per coil (circuit) is getting 2.1v, 7amps, 29.4watts, at each 0.6ohm circuit. All the battery sees is a 0.3ohm load, so supplies what is asked, no matter the number of circuits.

Thank you, i had a good idea thats the way it goes, but i wanted to be for sure. Having to much fun with it can easily be carried away lol. What would be a good rda to start out on? I'd like something that will allow for quad coil, but maybe i dont need to get into that with the ijust 2 battery just yet.

A Velocity maybe, being only a 2 post design, it has the holes to accomodate 4 coils, though stacked on top of each other. Any 3 post with a wide deck you can do quad coils quite easily. After that, any 5 post design will definitely be quad coil ready. You could also try dual twisted wire, or dual side by side parallel coils will in essence be a quad coil, 4 seperate wire circuits, just don't go below the minimum ohms that iJust can handle. In truth, if it was me with that iJust I wouldn't go below 0.5ohms and assume it is a 20amp CDR battery, and if you are looking at chucking clouds you really need to look at a dual battery box mod like the Sigelei 100watt, IPV3, Sig150watt or such, will handle cloud chucking more safely.

Looking at flavor chasing, then look at a narrower RDA deck, and maybe search back on some of @Boden's recent posts about a triple parallel 30awg dual coil config he's been proud of and rocking lately.

Thank you very much. They claim that the ijust 2 battery will fire a .2 ohm coil and kick out around 80 watts. The kit did come with a .3 ohm dual coil pre installed. It's been a great starter kit, i will give it that, and i quit smoking very fast. I'm looking to upgrade now to a new set up altogether and i don't want the ijust 2 battery to collect dust lol. I've been looking at the anyvape rba v2 coil, but i haven't been able to confirm that it will fit in the ijust 2 tank yet. Some say yes and some say no.
