Does anyone know a easy way to check a Ego style battery fro volts I want to know how charged my battery really is, it came with a USB cord that plugs into the end of it, It is a Pass through battery 1000mah. When i first plug in the end is always red but then the red light goes out and I just have no clue to know how charged it is, The wife has a 650 with a regular charger that you screw the battery onto, its red light while charging and blue light when it gets charged, today I plugged my battery up and left it on her charger for a hour or more and it never went Blue, it flickered a few times red blue but never solid blue.
I have a regular Multi meter and just wonder is there a way to fine the volts using it? I figure the center pin on top is Positive but what is the ground of the battery?

I guess I could buy another Charger, cut the end off and put leads that would plug into my Multi meter but Don't really want to do that.

Any ideas, Thanks

There's a cone around it? It is really hard to see inside. So maybe with a adapter it be possible to check it this way?

The tube, sorry, used the wrong term... the center post is recessed down inside the ego threaded tube. That whole tube is the ground, both the inside 510 threads and the outside ego threads.

OH, That is what I thought but couldn't get anything from it, If anyone else wants to do this, You have to press the button before you get something, mine is 3.88 Right now. Not used it to much today.
