Subject: E-Cigarette Follow Up[/FONT]

I am writing to thank you for taking the time to express your concerns and share your success story with me.

I will be doing a follow up piece tonight on the electronic cigarette to share positive feedback regarding the e-cig with our viewers.

I will also have a link to www.e-cigarette-forum.com on our website, WWW.WENY.COM, so our viewers may read more testimonials.

Again, thank you for your time and concern.

I sent this to WENY, or whatever........

PHP:
What is it about journalists (loosely) that makes them try to prove a negative all the time.Am referring to the influx of emails sent in response to the story on "e-cigs"...After reading some pretty powerful positive opinion on "e-smoking", the last word is: "Yes, but it's not proven safe in vapor form"..........aughhh, what is that. Suppose you stop using ice cubes now, because water isn't approved in frozen form yet.Good grief. Couldn't you have just said "And we'll just have to find The Rest of The Story" and leave it go at that? No, it's not approved in vapor form yet. How much ignorance is tolerable to you. A lot of people just gave you a perfect opportunity, to go find the rest of it...there may be something to this since we haven't had a lot of people dropping dead from water vapor, maybe there is some hope for those who are finding a good route to something that works for the betterment of their own health and well being. How could that be a bad thing. There's a BIG story out here. Come and get it.

My husband had a great Uncle, who was about as thoughtful and intellectual as anyone could be.
But every time he was faced with a choice, he would consider it, but then procrastinated the decision to do or not do by saying
"yeah, but....." and then start his own argument.
This, in my own opinion of course, is how Journalism is practiced today.
Instead of going with a positive, everything must be backed up with a Yeah, But.

I guess that is being Politically Correct. Balanced. The Ying and Yang of it all.
To me it's just a Yeah But.

It just ticks me off to no end.
