I posted this on the carto section of the forum also, but thought this forum should see it also..I have been having some frustrations with my boge cartos. I originally used the black boge cartos 2.0. They came with my kit and have been working great so found a great sale a survapes, got 25 of them for 23.00 . From the very first one Ive been having problems. either they burned out right away from first vape or in about 4-6 puffs they would get real dry and I had to constantly drip. If they worked okay, they would eventually burn. Ive about 10 of them that have burned , I have 10 left, some I slotted, some I punched, etc. Either they burn or they flood and then burn. What is happening? Have these companies just stopped with any sort of quality control? You would think they would care as it ruins the reputation. Look at us here, some people swear on boge the other half swear on smoke tech. I ordered a Smoke tech shorty tank that came with a smoke tech 1.7 dual coil prepunched with only 1 tiny hole, filled it and its flawless, perfect vape, no drying , constant flow. By the way, the troublesome SSteel "crappy boge" I bought so that I could use them on my beautiful phiniac pyrex tank. I have not been able to enjoy the tank, because of the cartos. I hate giving negative opinions, but after all this forum is a way to communicate with other users. Please speak up if others out there are getting stuck with crappy batches of cartos or any other product that is not living up to the expections of their reputation. I cant believe all those 1000s of loyal and repuatable users and reviewers on the internet cant all be wrong. Smoke tech and Boge are the big 2. Both have their strong points and weakness depending on juice thickness and thinness. People swear that both companies are used with 100% Vg juice and it works perfectly with proper punching etc. I want to make sure this doesnt turn into a slam fest on vendors, or the brand, Its the quality control issue that im concerned with. All over this forum there are countless post regarding BAD batches etc. I just wish the manufactuers would allow vendors to return bad batches and exchange them for other ones.

We dont need no stickin batches.....

Sometimes I wonder if it isn't the vendor. I only order from long time vendors, and I usually hear about bad boges coming from newer vendors.

I ordered a 5 pack awhile ago, and they were good, so I immediately ordered 50. Smoketech always, even from different vendors, taste funny then give me constant dry hits.

    Not a fanboy of anything...........

Im sure its not the vendors it their suppliers, boge is manufactured in china , so like anything made in china there are hundreds that arent the real deal. I found a vendor called Welcome to Valley View Vapes - Your Home for Quality Inexpensive Tanks and Vaping Supplies, they sell basic supplies, at very very good prices. They are in TX. I noticed on the site that they guarantee that these are genuine boges and that if you want for an extra buck they test them before shipping. He actually does take returns, which no one seems to do. Im sure most vendors dont take returns as there are a lot of persons inexperienced in dripping/filling or using really thick juices etc. burning them out; user error. But there are many people here that really know what they are doing and have used the item and they should be able to send them back and AT LEAST exchange them. I called him up and spoke to him in person, was very nice and polite and knowlegable. He is out right now on the boge, but should be getting some in by the next week.

ive used boges (LR) for 10 months or so and they have been very consistent. ive gotten them from maybe 5 different vendors and they all seem the same (nothing but good).
the last 2 batches ive ordered from the same place as the OP and they are fabulous. no duds, no early deaths. as always, a carto lasts me anywhere from 2-5 days depending on the liquid.

Check out Algernons post : Its the end of the world" this might reassure boge users that they are not crazy there is a problem, not from vendors but, the manufacturer. Its a good article Algernon linked. A lot of my duds were due to user error, but some might have been the cartos themselves. Im up and vaping now, figured out a lot of my mistakes.

All about quality control but this is not to boge only others are also the same. IMHO

Yep. I bought a five pack of smoketecs and they were all garbage. I'm not really sure where to go from here. I've tried the stardusts but they cracked on me. I don't have money to just throw in the wind on trial and error.

Even though I had a few problems with the boge, im still going to use them. I believe its a manufacturing problem, different machining locations making them. Im sure by now with all the threads going around here and at other forums, they have been made aware of the problems. Unfortunately now that the faulty ones are out there at vendors we will have to wait till they send out new ones and the older ones are gone. I hope they fix them and not let themselves get a bad reputation cause no one will carry them, cause Im sure people are calling the vendors and bugging them with all the duds. We will see where this all goes.
