I've been feeling pretty under the weather as of late, sore throat has improved over the past few days though. My nose is still producing a lot of blood clots and whatnot, no doubt I've got a nasal infection and the complications of post-smoking probably aren't really helping out. It's been about a month and some change now. I'll probably be fine, I kind of view it sort of as a trudge through the harsh things I've put myself through. There's light at the end of the tunnel, no doubt.

Do you usually get blood clotty things in your nose when you get a cold or such? I hae never had a "nasal" infection.

Or is this only since starting vaping?

It happens because we have gas heat, drys out the air pretty badly and in turn chaps out the inside of my nose. I tend to drink as much water as possible, but what I really need is a humidifier. I wouldn't blame the vape because it usually happens every year, that and I'm not doing PG. I'm sure the process of healing is still playing a role though, maybe exacerbating the issue.

IF you can, a trip to doc might be in order. I went to my doc and told him the exciting news that I had quit smoking and started vaping! I took my pv with me. And was prepared to explain what " vaping" was. He had TONS of questions!! He was also well aware of the unpleasant things the body goes thru when it is sans cigarettes{bronchitis, canker sores, etc} He prescribed some magic mouth wash with a shot of steroids to ward of anything more serious . And boy did it HELP! I have an amazing doctor though....unfortunately they are not all created equally. He was very excited that I had put the analogs down.
You could always print some info off the interweb...take it in to ur doc. There's no reason to suffer if you don't have to, but If going to doc is not an option...I've read a bunch of good ideas already posted ....humidifier...steam from hot water from stove....hot steamy shower,u don't have to get in if you dont want to, just sit in there....maybe some vasoline in the nose ....ummmm, trying to think....and oh! DRINK! Vaping WILL dry you out...bad! I thought I was getting sick when I started vaping...and I would go drink a Hugh glass of water and then feel fine. You'll realize how important it is to increase your WATER intake when you see how much better you feel when you do drink.
Anywho...this too shall pass! Vaping is worth it! Hang in there! Happy vaping!
