Hey so I've always used 2.4 ohms coils in my clearomizers. As for attys an atty carts never had a problem with either as well.

Got my first viva nova yesterday, head inside was 1.8 with a replacement 2.4, the 1.8 was satisfying so I just kept it in there

night time came an my nose started getting stuffy.. then this morning I was ok until I put on my viva nova & puffed away.

switched it with a stardust with a 2.4 ohm same juice and my allergies immediately calmed down

I wonder if I'm allergic to the juice smoke unless its vaped at a certain ohm?

I doubt that that is the case, i cant see chemical compostition changing like that. Do you have other allergies that could contribute. Hay fever ect. There are different levels at different time of day. Even the common cold has worse symptoms depending on the time of day. Im thinking coincidence. BUUUTTT you could just throw in the 2.4 back up head.

You didn't mention what type of liquids you are using - PG/VG ratio etc. - but you did switch to a lower resistance setup. It could just be the extra vapor you are getting at 1.8 ohms is releasing a higher concentration of a "something" in your liquid that you are sensitive to.

the only 1 I put in my viva since I got it yesterday was 100% VG it's my main juice, I had some in another clearo with a 2.4 head so I tried that 1 after

the bold part of your quote is what I'm thinking

You are probably getting more vapor than you are used to with the vivi - I certainly do as compared to my cartomizer/tank setups.

I also find 100% vg to be heavier than pg/vg ratios.

If you are using a vv device I would turn down the voltage - I use a much lower voltage on my vivi tanks than I do with cartomizers due to the higher vapor production.

I think you're on to a possible cause Startle. Assuming, of course, that our guy didn't vary the voltage when the head was changed would he not be producing a bigger throat hit (higher temp vape) and beaucoup more vapor?

It could be a possibility but let's start small and work out on the trouble shooting: did you change out the drip tip on the nova tank? Did you use the same battery? How about your gaping style? (yes for some the style needs to be modified) when you gaps so you release the bale out of your nose? Was it the same juice used? Have you kept hydrated? Have you been around pets? Flowers? NDP's 2013 budget cut plan?

I know I just started experimenting with direct lung draws, and it feels like I am back at day one of gaping lol
