Weird drip tip reaction

I have a delrin plastic drip tip. I recently got some sample flavors of juice from pure smoker and vermillion river. I accidentally mixed the two in one carto but didn't think to much about it other than the odd taste.

The next day I pulled the drip tip off and some of the batting from the carto was stuck to it. I tried to wash it off but it was melted into the plastic. I know I didn't overheat it. Looking at it closely it looks like a chemical reaction. It also turned some of the plastic white. This is a bit concerning as I am inhaling this

Anyone else see any issues like this?

I have also experienced this but not on such a large scale.
Since (i think) both liquids are pure there should be nothing wrong with mixing them or vaping.
I mix liquids all the time!

Was one of the liquids Cinnamon??? If so it could have Cinnamon oil and that will react with some plastics

No it was an apple wood and a melon flavor.

I ended up slivering off the end of the drip tip with a razor. I also dismantled the carto and the batting was hard. I think I'll stick to one flavor per carto from now on

Well mixing the two liquids probably didn't cause this, so be careful about how you proceed. Just sticking to one liquid in a carto is not going to solve whatever problem you had to start with. I am still new to cartos so I can't say for sure, but it sounds like the carto got too dry.

Was it a deralin tip?
