Thank you for posting this. Cool if I brought some memories up :)
Maybe I should then put a little more money on a good e cigarette. Unfortunately the Bloog is sold in US, or the store is in US I found. But instead I thought I could order from england (liberty flights store)

Which of these starter kits would you recommend for buy (if you know any of these):
E-Power
Riva 510
eGo - T
Riva 901
DSE 901-T
510-T
Lavatube VV
Indulgence
SD Keyring

I own or have owned everything you mention except the Riva 901, DES 901-t and the Keyring.

In order of preference

The Lavatube VV
E-power
Riva 510
Indulgence
Ego-t
510-t

I use Riva 510 (the 3.7v kind). The Riva 510 SE models at Liberty-Flights.co.uk are 3.7v

Egos are 3.4v but if you are going to use LR (low resistance) atomizers and cartomizers it doesn't matter that much. Egos may be a bit sturdier in the battery center post area - the post may be more resistant to getting pressed in if you over-tighten stuff.

I think about 50% of people who start with -T models and most who start with any kind of atomizer switch to cartomizers for everyday vaping and use atomizers for testing new juices and vaping occasional one (often with a drip tip on a normal non-tank atomizer on a sealed manual battery)

You mean I should not start with a -T model?
I have no idea what to start with. I got interested about lavatube vv when KeysBum mentioned it and it looked pretty good with its changeable voltage.
So are you saying I should start right off with cartomizer models? What is a good model?
Can't you have atomizer and cartomizer both in same e cigarette? : D
I just want something to start vaping instead of smoking. Don't know where to start.

I think what she (he?) is saying is that a lot of people prefer cartomizers because of their ease of use. Atomizers can be a pain to use after a while because of all the maintenance required to keep them running smoothly. And they can be a little pricey to replace. Cartomizers are simple, you refill and vape for a few days, and then you toss them. No complicated cleaning rituals required. The only downside to cartomizers is that you can't test new flavors, and that's where an atomizer can come in handy. You can test a few drops without wasting a cartomizer, if you discover you don't like the taste.

Everything I ranked was on YOUR list. All can use cartomizers, which I highly recommend over the tank atty. I put the LT in first place because you have the ability to vary the voltage to suit your taste. If the question had been which VV device is the best, I have a different answer. But I do have 2 LT's and am vaping one right now. I like it.
