Weird looking kanthal.

I was browsing eBay the other day and I saw kanthal wire that looked like it had a smaller kanthal wire wrapped around it. I think it came in spools. Does anyone know what I'm referring to? I can't seem to find it any more otherwise I'd totally post a pic.

And if you do know what I'm referring to do you know if it's good for building coils?

I haven't made them yet, but they don't appear too difficult with the right amount of time. It is on my list of "free time away from my wife and toddler and daddy can do vape stuff for hours" list though
