On a recent road trip, I plugged my MVP into the car cigarette lighter to top it off. After it charged for awhile, I checked the charge level and noticed it had actually discharged and the MVP was warm to the touch. One of my kayfuns was screwed on to it, but it was NOT firing.

I unplugged the charger from the MVP and the green light on the button remained on. It wasn't trying to fire, but it was as if it thought it was still charging and no combination of button presses would change it. With my kayfun off of it, I laid it on the floor and it slowly but surely completely discharged itself to the point where it turned off altogether, after which, it cooled down.

When I finally got home, I thought I'd try charging it up again. It fully charged and has been working fine ever since....

I'm sure this wasn't great for battery life, but it seems it had some sort of software glitch. Is there a way to reset these things if it should occur again? After several days, I've had no further problems with it.
